My package came whilst I was on holiday despite me asking for it to come sooner and when I returned I found the quality is poor and they didn’t fit at all. Although stretchy, there is no support whatsoever. I bought four pairs and they are super expensive for the quality, I only tried one on and asked to return. They have said no as it’s only 7 days. This is ludicrous. They want to leave me with unusable poor quality jeans just because they don’t want them back, even though I have to pay return shipping costs. As a wheelchair bound mother of a toddler who looks after parents and works, 7 days is not appropriate anyway! Terrible customer service, terrible product, good reviews on here HAVE to be fake.
Ordering was simple, but custom duties had to be payed by customer (half of the price of jeans extra) and finally (jeans doesn‘t fit) they don‘t offer a voucher for return.Pretty bad service at all !
The product isn’t bad but really not worth the price when import duty is three quarter of the price you you pay so for 2 pairs costing R1200, duties are another R800!
After being asked about my experience and advising of the additional charges which are actually not indicated, the response- you agree to this.
So, I’m letting all South Africans know of the additional cost so you can make an informed decision.
Warning - Buying from AB Skinny can be an Extremely Costly Excercise
I ordered a pair of AB Skinny trousers for my wife at a cost of $35 plus $12 shipping. But the AB Skinny website clearly does not list where the products are being shipped from, in this case Thailand, hence there are import duties when arriving in an EU state (24% VAT on the total order cost into Greece) But added to which the shipper whom AB Skinny uses namely DHL charges Euro.50 as an admiration clearing fee, which is something not listed in the AB Skinny website. Consequently, the total cost for a $35 pair of trousers would be an exorbitant $119.
So be Warned before ordering from AB Skinny - But after several stern e-mails to AB-Skinny and the TrustPilot review, all credit to AB-Skinny they did in fact refund the total order cost ($47)
