total scam put 500 bucks in defi chain crypto. now its worth 15 bucks total and they wont even let me withdraw that because i live in america? Cant believe these people got away with this total scam... what a joke

Please be extremely cautious here. Bake (formerly Cake) is increasingly turning into a scam. I've been waiting for over a week now for my account to be reactivated so I can sell off the last few DeFi chains. Currently, I can't do anything... except watch as the prices fall.

Scam Site
Bake was originally Cake Defi and was founded by a guy who had previously done pyramid schemes. This is exactly the same thing. They promise these big returns for staking coin on their site, but then they drop the value of the coins without any way to exit the platform (at least in the US). My $100 "worth" of their coin is worth $5 now and i was never able to withdraw money or even transfer assets out of their website. At this point, I can't even deposit funds into their account from the US because they know they'd be shut down if they operated in the US.

Been a customer for many years and I really like the custodial service when navigating the crypto world. It is nice to have someone handle all the tech so I can just focus on strategy. Support is super responsive and personalized.

I recently had an issue with the external wallet verification process. I logged a ticket and was assisted by Renan, their customer support manager. There were a quite a number of emails going to and fro but happy to say the services rendered are prompt, professional, polite and most importantly, resolved my issue as I hoped for.
