All their items are made in and shipped from China, flimsy, and not worth the high price point. They didn't update any shipping info until I sent them a cancellation and chargeback notice. Only then, they got in contact with me to say my items were on their way. That took another week. Would not recommend. I chose BARE specifically because I was told that the protection could be changed/replaced for free for a lifetime, except for the side case. Unfortunately, my camera protection recently broke, so I went to the store expecting to have it replaced under the lifetime replacement promise. I was then told that I needed to pay another AED 100 because they had changed the type of camera lens/protection. This is very disappointing. If the product was sold to me with a lifetime free replacement promise, why should I have to pay again simply because the company changed the type of lens/product? I understand if there are terms and conditions or if certain damages are excluded, but these conditions should be clearly explained at the time of purchase. I paid almost AED 300 based on the understanding that I would have lifetime replacement, not that I would need to purchase another lifetime replacement plan whenever the product design changed. Stay FAR AWAY from this Company. ### ★☆☆☆☆ Worst online shopping experience in 1000+ orders — avoid this site - JO · 2026-07-16 I've placed over 1,000 orders online across various retailers, and this is by far the worst return experience I've ever had. It took more than a month to get any real response about my return. I sent 8 emails and only received 2 replies. In between, I had to escalate and mention a chargeback with my bank just to get any movement at all. It really feels like they rely on people giving up out of exhaustion — staying silent for weeks seems to be part of the strategy, not just poor organization. The return process itself is unnecessarily difficult. They asked for photos of the product even though it was never opened. After a month of back and forth, their final answer was that I'd have to cover the return shipping myself (around $50/€45) AND pay a 10% "handling fee" on top of that. Even back in 2010, online return processes were simpler than this. A pretty bad case for any real life protection. My phone slid off my lap onto wood flooring, while I was sitting, and it cracked their screen protector. Then I realized the case has no lip over the screen. When you put the phone face down it's almost as if the screen is directly touching the surface and not the lip of the case that protects the phone. I had the case for just over a week, I did drop the case while sitting on an armchair, it fell about 50 cm on to the ground and the case cracked in two places. I've purchased similar cases from Ali Express for $4 which is very similar quality and they have never cracked. The delivery was late and I couldn’t track the shipment due to a bad tracking number. After the delivery window passed I bought another case to protect my phone and asked to cancel my shipment. They denied my request, gave an excuse for being late and sent it out that day! When it arrived I tried to return it but they keep asking for pictures of the case, which I have sent 4 emails to them with multiple pictures. Now they claim there was a clear film on the back of the case that was never there. I issued a claim with my bank for my money back but when my bank reached out, BareCases told them I never tried to return the case. This process has gone on since February 3rd. It shouldn’t take over 3 months to return a product that was never used. They are scamming customers!
