Last night we completed a migration to a new scheduling and records system, finishing early this morning. A small number of appointments booked during the migration window didn't carry over to the new system, which caused delayed calls and some duplicate or out-of-order notifications. One of those automated emails also went out with a staff member's name in it — mine — instead of the intended recipient's. That was a template error on our side, not a mix-up of anyone's records. As soon as we identified the issue this morning, we rescheduled the affected appointments and asked our providers to call those patients as soon as they were free rather than waiting for the newly assigned times. The migration is now complete so everything will be smooth going forward. This new system will actually make things faster, especially for renewals, since information won't need to be re-entered every time.
