I had made by booking by entering my first name as YI JIE (with a space in between) and the ticket issued by the airline (scoot) stated my first name as YIJIE (without the space in between). When I attempted to add my Krisflyer membership using the airlines manage my booking portal, I am not able to do so because the name on the ticket issued (YIJIE - without space) mismatches the name registered for the membership (YI JIE - with the space). And the airline is imposing a CNY 560 charges for me to add a space. It is definitely cheapticket's mistake. I also provided my membership number during the booking on cheapticket but the number had not been added to the ticket issued. When I reached out to the customer service, they are not able to resolve the problem. They told me to handle the issue by myself with the airline. Cheap ticket is not going to take the responsibility on their mistake at all! ### ★★★★★ easy to buy! - JASON chow · 2026-10-23 · 已验证 > 商家回复 (2026-10-23): Hi Jason, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I bought ticket to HKG. The screen showed ‘ UNABLE TO PROCESS’. Right after we decided to book via other platforms. Few days later we found out that CheapTickets processed the transaction and forwarded us a flight ticket. We showed proof, system prompted UNABLE TO PROCESS. After 10 emails or so, CheapTickets email respond is extremely consistent - ‘There was no error, once ticket is issued, it is a valid transaction so it is right for them to charge us’. Wow! Damn shocking. There was no way for us to claim back because you realise that their STANDARD respond shows they operate like a scam company. > 商家回复 (2026-10-19): Hello Mavis, Thank you for your feedback. This error can occur when a card transaction is not cancelled before attempting a new booking. When your bank resubmitted the payment, our system received it and automatically issued your ticket. We will be sending you a separate email to request your booking details so our team can fully investigate this issue for you. Kind regards, Steve Cheaptickets ### ★★★★★ Good experience - AVTAR SINGH · 2026-10-17 · 已验证 Good experience > 商家回复 (2026-10-17): Hi Avtar, Thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback.
