Throughout my time with SwissHash, I have repeatedly experienced problems with invoices, including discrepancies that I have tried to clarify. Instead of receiving clear explanations and proper support, I have often found myself going back and forth between SwissHash and Hashlabs. SwissHash refers me to Hashlabs, while Hashlabs directs me back to SwissHash. As a customer, you end up feeling that nobody is willing to take responsibility for resolving your concerns. Communication and customer support have been another major source of frustration. Getting clear, straightforward answers to legitimate questions has been unnecessarily difficult. When you are paying for a hosting service, you should be able to expect transparent billing, reliable communication, and professional support. What makes the situation even more frustrating is the pressure over payments. I have been threatened with having invoices forwarded to Creditreform when a payment is just two days overdue, even though I have ongoing questions and unresolved concerns regarding the billing. After approximately one year of dealing with these problems, I deeply regret choosing this service. What should have been a straightforward business relationship has turned into a constant source of stress and frustration. My advice to anyone considering SwissHash or Hashlabs: do your research very carefully before committing. Read the contract thoroughly, keep copies of every invoice, and make sure you understand how electricity consumption is calculated and how billing disputes are handled. I am sharing my experience because I do not want other miners to end up in the same situation. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend their service. I sincerely wish I had known what I know today before getting involved. Please take this review seriously and do your due diligence before making a decision. Emre, their Commercial Director, is responsive and straight to the point — every question I've had about pricing, hardware or maintenance got a clear, honest answer, including the "it depends" ones where a less serious provider would just oversell. The repair terms are the main reason I trust them long-term. Hashboard replacement is capped at $299 in the contract, other components run in the $100–200 range, and they don't charge for fan swaps because — in their own words — it's not a real cost for them. That kind of honesty is uncommon in this industry, where hidden maintenance fees are usually where you get squeezed. They're also flexible on hardware: you can buy through them or source your own machine from a manufacturer and have it shipped to their site. And they give real, no-nonsense advice on extending ASIC lifespan (thermal paste, deep cleaning) rather than just pushing new units. Solid infrastructure, fair pricing, transparent contract, and a commercial team that actually answers. I will address your comments point by point. 1) The miners haven't been working for two weeks - I assume you are a client in Ethiopia, since only this site is experiencing significant downtime. - The two week downtime is caused by a government-mandated electricity curtailment which affects all data centers in Ethiopia and is outside of our control. - Thus, there is little we can do about it, and we believe it is not fair to blame us for a government directive that affects all data centers equally. - We sent all clients a notification explaining this situation. Please review this notification for more detailed information. 2) Support isn't responding - Unresponsive support is directly within our control and we appreciate your feedback. We prioritise improving our response time. 3) Uptime has been consistently poor - As mentioned above, you are likely an Ethiopia client since this site is the only one with historical uptime below standards. - Practically all Ethiopian mining sites, including ours, have unfortunately struggled with uptime since the beginning. This is due to government-mandated electricity curtailments. - Since the uptime in Ethiopia is due to government-mandated curtailments which are outside of our control, it is not fair to place this criticism on our company. We can only work with what we have, and if electricity delivery in a country is unstable, it is unfortunately little we can do about it. 4) The compensation for unconsumed energy is unreliable - We have run our current billing system for more than a year now and it has gone through multiple audits and we have not had significant complaints about invoices from clients. - Of course, we are always looking to optimise our operations, and since billing is a critical component, we welcome you to provide detailed feedback to us on what should be improved. 5) Repairs for a broken miner usually take three weeks - We understand that it is annoying to wait for a miner to be repaired and we are actively working on minimising repair timelines. That is why we had to go to such lengths as to build our own repair center in Ethiopia. - However, three weeks is not a very long repair timeline on a global scale, and particularly not in Ethiopia. Repair solutions are under-developed in Ethiopia particularly and almost all miners there struggle to repair miners in a reasonable time. We are one of the only miners there with our own repair centre, and we dare to say that of all miners there, we provide among the fastest repair times. - Thus, this negative feedback is unjustified and not fair to us as a company. 6) High repair prices - Our repair prices are very competitive in the market. All other repair centers in the regions we operate charge about the same amounts. - Thus, this negative feedback is unjustified, as you have to compare our prices to the general market prices. Overall, we appreciate your feedback, although most of the points you raised are unjustified and unfair. The only fair point is the support response time, we admit we have improvement potential on this front.
