Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. I'll elaborate on the mattress incident as your review doesn't provide all the details. We, along with our cleaner, take great pride in our cabins and guest experiences. YOU DID NOT SLEEP ON THE SPOT AS WE WOULD NEVER ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN! All our mattresses are covered with waterproof protectors and flipped every 30 days. After your check-out, the mattress protector was removed, the mattress was flipped and the spot was discovered (again you did not sleep on it). I contacted you, as well as previous guests thus leading me to find out what had happened. The mattress has been replaced. We look forward to having you as our guests again.

We didn't hear from you during your stay and wish you would have contacted us. Several options were available to make your stay more comfortable. A 3-inch plush memory foam topper cushion is provided in the cabin for use on the sleeper sofa. If that didn't work for you, we would have been happy to move you to another cabin. The cabin description and pictures accurately describe the layout, and we would have been happy to answer any questions.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin. The land you're referring to is not owned by us and is on the other side of the creek. This land was previously obscured by trees and vegetation which was destroyed last year during the hurricane. We hope to have a solution soon. We do have four additional cabins onsite with wooded views. We hope to have you stay with us again in one of them.

There are several lights to guide the way down to the bathroom at night which we will check to be sure all are working as they should. Should you return to stay with us, we do have other cabins available.
