Please guys, follow their rules!!! Not sure why so many negative reviews regarding IPs… don’t trade someone accounts period! I don’t think there are any prop firms allows that… anyway guys, been with them for a while now since they just started, so far I can trust them!
Very good prop firm
I started with a 50k account only with Quantec, because I had been burned by FirstClassForexFunds before. I was positively surprised to see that my worries were unfounded, for various reasons: - I could pass the HFT challenge with my own bot, instead of needing to pay 3rd party providers - They have a very good and open discord, with the CEO and COO actively engaging with the customers (and no words banned such like the NSF discord server...) - The support staff tries to help and answer basically all questions - Their 30 second rule between opening positions is very good and easy to understand, and makes it great to spread out position sizes. - Their payout system is quite streamlined (It would be great to continue trading while waiting on a payout though) So far I had 3 payouts, and I am very happy with the overall experience.

(WORST PROP FIRM) My whole payout got declined for news trading when I didn’t even trade news. Then decided to message the support about this for them to ramble on about pointless stuff and never resolved the issue.
Received Payout/Not Happy with Misc. Fees
I bought the Quantec 25K Challenge in November 2023 and passed in a week with a bot. Received live funding on 22nd November. Pros 1. Received the payout within 3 days to my Bank Account Cons 1. Poor Trading Environment[News Trading Not Allowed/Most EA's not allowed/Week End Holding Not Allowed/Very high slippage/50% Profit share rule and a bit confusing rules] 2. For payout, they charge a $50 USD transaction fee which was not mentioned anywhere on their website. Not sure if it is a fixed amount. What happened with my account? Total Profit - $147.5[US 30 - 12 Trades(0.05 Lots each - Went conservative)] Profit Share - $88.5 Received in Bank - $38.5 Transaction Fees - $50[They deduct this amount on payout figure.] Conclusion They do not allow news trading which means, you need to manually close all trades[Follow Forex Factory - Red Folder Only]. Any trades opened/closed before 10 min/after 10 min on news events are considered a breach and your account will be terminated. I am from Melbourne and the US market opens at 1.40 AM and closes at 8 AM the next day. So I cannot place a sell order for an open position because on a news event my order will get executed and the account may get terminated. I would suggest please go with some other prop firms. I will see how my 2nd payout goes and will update

Well my experience so far is I made $8600 on my 200 k account. After a week they emailed me saying that they don’t approve my payment. I make sure I used only 1 lot or 2 lot on gold but I am still denied I never traded news either. Anyway they say I open order less than 30 second so that’s the big issue I guess. Tbh if y’all wanna get pay with no issue just go with a legit firm that’s All I learned my lesson.

This rule is clearly stipulated on our website and discord, however we have made this rule a soft breach to allow traders the opportunity to adjust their trading strategies to allow for this 30 second rule. Great Experience - Active support team and leadership involvement
Great experience so far. Have received 3 payouts. Just need to understand the rules. Many firms have consistency rules, news trading blackouts, etc. Just need to understand how Quantec applies those rules and trade accordingly. The support team and CEO and COO are active in the Discord chat room and are pretty transparent on how things work. Having a firm that allows HFT to pass and then pays out on time if you follow a few simple rules is rare these days. These guys do it.

So far so good, I passed a $25,000 challenge using HFT traded the and gained about 3% in the first 30days. Requested payout and received about 24 hours later, I’m awaiting my next payout in 5 days time. So far I can’t fault this prop firm, I will update my review if that changes.
