- John Coffey · 2026-07-10

(2026-07-13): John, thanks for taking your time to provide feedback to our team. Thank you for giving us the chance to earn your business and we're so happy to hear it went well!

- Wade Massey · 2026-05-15

(2026-05-15): We appreciate the feedback and understand your concern. The team at RRCats works hard to provide fair, transparent quotes based on current catalytic converter market values and the condition and content of the converter once it’s inspected and processed.

We know price changes can be frustrating, especially with precious metal markets moving around so much. Our goal is always to communicate clearly and make sure customers understand the process before final payment is issued. We do appreciate you giving us a try and hope we can earn more of your confidence moving forward.

- Jerry · 2026-01-29

(2026-01-29): Thanks, Jerry! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Glad to hear the response time, communication, and customer service all hit the mark. We understand the payment timing wasn’t exactly what you expected, and we appreciate your patience there.
- glenn frerker · 2025-05-27

(2025-05-28): Thank you for sharing your feedback. At RRCats, we’re upfront that our catalytic converter pricing is based on precise recovery of precious metals, and not all units contain materials that meet our buying standards. Our process—unlike walk-in local recyclers—relies on mailed-in items that must meet certain thresholds to ensure fair, transparent, and reliable value assessments across the country.

We never claim to pay the most or to purchase every catalytic converter; our goal is to offer consistent, trustworthy pricing based on true metal content, not just appearance. While it’s unfortunate we couldn’t purchase your converters, we hope you found a solution that worked for you. We always aim for clarity and integrity in every quote we provide.

- Jeff Lau · 2025-04-18

(2025-04-18): Thanks Jeff! We’re thrilled to hear your experience with RRCats was smoother and more convenient than dealing with local recyclers. Our team works hard to make the process of selling scrap catalytic converters simple and transparent—right from fast quotes via text to providing free shipping labels and same-day PayPal payments.

Accepting the full catalytic converter part as-is is just one way we cut down the hassle, especially compared to local yards that require trimming and extra trips for payment. We appreciate you choosing RRCats, and we’re here anytime you have more converters to sell!

- Brian Bitterlin · 2025-04-18

(2025-04-21): Thank you, Brian! We're so glad you had a positive experience with RRCats and found us to be a great choice for catalytic converter recycling. We take pride in providing quick responses, fast payments through PayPal, and a secure, transparent process that ensures compliance with all regulations. Your recognition of our efforts to uphold responsible practices means a lot. We appreciate your recommendation and look forward to helping you again!

- Don't fucking worry about it · 2025-04-11

(2025-04-14): Hi there — we’re sorry to hear about your frustration and truly regret that your experience with RRCats didn’t meet expectations. Our goal is always to provide a clear, legal, and customer-focused service when it comes to selling scrap catalytic converters.

Because each converter's value depends on details like the unit itself, condition, and vehicle specs, we do ask for specific photos to ensure accurate and fair quotes. Our process is designed to comply with all federal and state laws regarding catalytic converter transactions, which is why we sometimes require additional verification like title photos or physical unit images.

We understand this can be frustrating, especially when local laws restrict removal. If you're ever in a position to ship the converters legally and safely, our team would be more than happy to assist you again.

Appreciate you sharing your feedback — it helps us improve our service and better explain our process to customers in the future.

(2024-09-03): Hey Justin, we're not sure why you would leave a review like this based on your experience with us. Did we buy a catalytic converter from you? Or did we just provide a quote? We don't have any record of working with you based on your display name. If you would provide our team more context perhaps we can work on improving our services or understand why you would rate us this way.

(2024-08-06): Thank you for the chance to earn your business Dan. We are appreciative of you giving us a chance and trusting us with recycling your catalytic converters.
