Unfortunately, they’re mandated by the Arizona Supreme Court, which requires all approved defensive driving schools to include specific timers to meet course length and participation standards. The way quizzes are structured depends on the state’s requirements, and in some states we’re not permitted to indicate which questions were answered incorrectly. That restriction is set by regulation, not by us, and we have to follow those rules in order to stay certified. That said, we’ll review your experience and see if there are any improvements we can make within those guidelines to help reduce frustration.
