It took **over a year** for me to finally receive the money I was owed. Before leaving for vacation, I had already made a **partial payment** and informed the company that I would make another payment once I returned. When I came back from vacation, I saw that the funds I had been waiting so long for were finally deposited into my bank account. However, SETC Pros then **withdrew the entire amount they claimed was owed instead of honoring the partial payment I had already made and the payment arrangement I had communicated**. I believe I was overcharged, and I have been trying to get the amount I dispute reimbursed. I have sent **several emails and made multiple attempts to contact the company**, but I have been unable to get this issue resolved or even get through to someone who can properly address it. After waiting more than a year for assistance, it is incredibly frustrating to finally receive my funds only to have this happen. I would strongly encourage anyone considering SETC Pros to **carefully review the fees, payment terms, and any authorization for withdrawals before agreeing to their services**. I am still requesting that SETC Pros review my account, provide a complete breakdown of what I was charged, credit the partial payment I previously made, and **refund any amount that was overcharged or improperly withdrawn**. ### ★☆☆☆☆ I paid Septco for assistance in… - Janet Ashworth · 2026-02-12 I paid Septco for assistance in obtaining a tax credit they promised to help me secure. They took my money and never delivered the service. I have repeatedly requested a refund—which they guarantee—through emails, texts, and phone calls, and I have received no response and no refund. This company has not honored their commitments. Do not do business with them. You will end up paying for something you will never receive. ### ★☆☆☆☆ I went online after seeing an ad for… - Dean Clark · 2025-12-20 I went online after seeing an ad for SETC about receiving money back from my tax return. This was years ago and when I calculated on the website what I would get back it was thousands less than what they were promising on the ad. I tried to contact SETC through telephone and email and nop one responded so I did not move along any further. I never sent anything to the IRS and figured it was just a scam because I could not speak to anyone. Now years later I am being threatned with a collection agency for a service I did not use and never got a refund from the IRS. When I try to call I am told to go to the website to contat them. Even if you call during regular business hours I cant get a hold of anyone. On the webiste there is only an email address listed which I keep trying to email. No one contacts me and I keep getting text message and emails sometimes a few times a day threatning me. When I use the email they have listed on the website I get a falure to deliver email back. ### ★★★★★ Brett he is an nice guy and honest if… - Alsalihi Ali · 2025-06-10 Brett he is an nice guy and honest if you apply to SETC its legit i got my check after 8 months ### ★☆☆☆☆ These people are awful - Maria Godman · 2025-04-30 These people are awful! I called them about changing my address on the amended tax return and they said it would be done. Then it still never got done. I've not seen one person who has gone through this company and has actually gotten a refund. I've reported this company to the feds, which was what was suggested to me by a tax person. SETC pros claimed I was approved for $2110 refund however when I had a CPA do the form, the total was only $460. SETC pros comments on these threads that people have gotten paid, however, no actual person has shown they got paid by this company. I've also sent a report to the IRS regarding this fraudulent company. SETC Pros won't even give me their PTIN number, because they do not have one given they are fraudulent. They will then say in all their reviews that they do not see you in their system, however, they seem to be able to message you almost daily through text and email. Complete scam! Tell the others! > 商家回复 (2025-04-08): Lin we can't find you in our system... please call us at (888) 738-2829 we are here to help you! THEY SAID THEY SENT THE FORMS I NEEDED TO FILL OUT TO MY OLD EMAIL ADDRESS WHICH I EXPLAINED WAS NO LONGER IN USE ABOUT 4 TIMES, WHEN I MADE A COMPLAINT TO THE BBB SOMEONE SAID THEY WOULD FORWARD ME THE FORMS. NEVER GOT IT. MY GUESS IS IF THE REFUND ISN'T SUBSTANTIAL YOUR NOT WORTH THE TIME. > 商家回复 (2025-02-21): Marci- We have zero record of you in our system. Are you sure you used us as your SETC partner?
