Not having a traditional stethoscope hose means I don’t have to put my face directly into a patient's face while auscultating. Pros: • Crystal Clear Audio: When paired directly with AirPods Pro, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) makes heart and lung sounds incredibly sharp, even in a noisy, chaotic Emergency Room environment. • Infection Control: The tubeless design is excellent for personal safety and infection control. Cons: • Severe Audio Lag: If you route the audio from the scope, to your phone, and then to your headphones, there is a very noticeable, frustrating lag with breath sounds. • Audio Feedback: The scope-to-phone loop can create annoying audio feedback. The Verdict: Skip the phone app routing entirely. If you use it by pairing it directly to high-quality ANC earbuds like the AirPods Pro, it is an excellent, highly functional clinical tool. Very misleading! I ordered a stemoscope pro from them and it did not connect with my hearing aids (Signia) no matter what I tried (yes I did try through the phone app). It did connect with two different sets of AirPods but there was a 2-3 second delay (hearing the inhalation while the patient was exhaling). I contacted them about a return (still not realizing they were in China - I knew the package was shipped to me from China but that sometimes happens with companies). Someone emailed me back in 2 days and told me there would be a 25% restocking fee, even though the product doesn't work properly. Said I can talk to technical support about it but no info. on how to contact them. No phone numbers to call, no way to chat with someone and troubleshoot. I have to pay to ship it back - $100 CAD to ship a small envelope with tracking to China. When I pushed back and said it doesn't work properly (based on the 2-3 second delay), she said they would test it when they get it back but would only give a full return if they agree. She advised me to only put a $25 value on the customs package but this means I would lose the whole value if it's lost.
