Trademark applications often involve multiple filing options, examination issues, and communications with the USPTO. As a result, applicants may choose to pursue additional filings to obtain broader protection for different elements of their branding. The application that is the subject of your complaint was filed, examined by the USPTO, and has progressed successfully through the registration process.

We understand your frustration regarding the costs associated with pursuing trademark protection. However, after reviewing the history of your account, we have not found a basis for the refund and reimbursement you are requesting.

The filing that is the subject of your complaint was submitted after discussions regarding additional protection for wording contained within your existing branding. The application was filed only after authorization and payment were received for that specific filing. We do not alter any logo's submitted by our customers. While trademark prosecution can involve office actions and requests for additional information from the USPTO, these are common parts of the examination process and do not necessarily indicate that an application was mishandled. In this case, the application in question has progressed successfully through the USPTO review process and has been approved for registration. We understand that trademark matters can be complex and that disagreements can arise regarding filing strategy. However, our records do not support the assertion that services were not performed or that fees were charged for work that was not completed.
