My phone suddenly started showing a security warning and contactless payments stopped working. I contacted Ulefone support, and I was pleasantly surprised by their response. They took my problem seriously, communicated with me promptly, and worked with Google to find a solution. They then provided a software update that fixed the issue, and Google Wallet payments are working again. I really appreciate their quick response, professional approach, and willingness to solve the problem rather than simply sending generic troubleshooting instructions. The phone screen just stopped working. Just like that, no bump, drop, rainwater, nothing. Ulefone said they could not repair, there was no parts, and offered a replacement phone with whatever crap they had in stock and could not sell, in my case a phone with a small battery. I asked for a suitable replacement and even offered to pay the difference for a better phone, they refused and could not care less. This is not the attitude of a brand that has the long picture in sight. Just expensive phones without a safety net, it's a bet, if it fails you loose it all. ### ★★☆☆☆ Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra - Robi O. · 2026-10-12 Ulefone Armor 26 Ultra -THIS IS A STRONGLY NEGATIVE REVIEW- But I will still give credit where it's due - I have owned the phone for almost 3 years. I bought it mostly for its ruggedness, good battery and cameras, despite already knowing the this model had occasional spontanious updating and/or restarting issues. I hoped that the issue would be fixed and stuck with the phone. It has amazing 120W fast charging, which fills the large battery in a matter of minutes. I am mostly satisfied with the cameras (using a 3rd party app proshot often), but they have some quirks (preview at about 2-5x zoom is from a different camera, than the one that actually takes a picture, which means focusing issues in some special cases, and misplacement of objects). Telephoto lens are very decent and I've made some amazing mounteneering and nature photos over the years. And yes, it fell from a balcony, on the rocks, on the floor plenty of times and there is no real damage. .....BUT..... all the good things are often useless because of this frustrating reason. My phone keeps randomly restarting, sometimes as many as 10+ times in a single day. This makes it extremely frustrating and unreliable for everyday use. The problem persists from the beginning when I bought it. Sometimes it doesn't do that for a week or two. But then decides to shut down while you are in the mountains, tracking your path. Or having an urgent call. Or navigating in a busy city road where a few minute restart phase leaves you without the nav. Let's not waste words about having to turn it all on again and start at the highway speeds. On top of that, one of the shutdowns corrupted my android system, so the phone had to be factory resetted. Goodbye photos and all the data, since android didn't even start. The problem has persisted, and despite my experience with Ulefone support while the warranty was still active, I have not received an effective solution - and to my knowledge, neither did the other users. A rugged smartphone should be dependable. Instead, I have a device that I cannot trust to stay switched on when I need it. I am a stubborn guy. I wanted to stick with this phone's strong points despite it's glaring weakness. But it saddens me greatly to say, that it is not worth the hassle, even at a cheaper price! My phones camera is messed up and I specifically purchased this phone for its marketed rugged functionality and i haven't even had it for a month and the camera is not working now. This is very sad considering this phone should be able to operate and function in a construction/field environment. Now I have a brick that i can call and text but no camera. The customer service so far has been absolutely junk considering I just dropped $1000 on a new phone. A 509€ price instantly balloons to 609€, and the total order jumps by nearly 100€ hidden inside the main phone's price. Disgusting business practices. Highly recommend!!!! ### ★☆☆☆☆ Armor 34 - Fernando Caparrós de la Rosa · 2026-09-14 Armor 34: underwater recording advertised, only paid remedies offered I bought an Armor 34 directly from the Ulefone Official Store on 5 September 2025 and received it in Norway on 16 September. I also own a Ulefone rugged tablet and have generally liked their products. This review concerns my experience with the phone’s water resistance and the handling of my complaint. I chose the Armor 34 partly because Ulefone expressly advertises underwater photography and video recording alongside its IP68 rating. On 10 September 2026, I used it during a controlled river-rescue training exercise as a firefighter. It was submerged in fresh water approximately five or six times, about 20 cm deep, for no more than five seconds each time. Both waterproof covers were properly closed. The phone worked afterwards and was not charged that night. The following morning, the touchscreen began malfunctioning and the display showed discolouration. I reported the problem immediately and supplied the photographs and videos requested by support. Their replies were prompt. However, they repeatedly stated that liquid damage is excluded regardless of immersion depth or duration. They also cited expiry of their 12-month commercial warranty, calculated from purchase, although the fault was reported less than a year after delivery. On 14 September, they estimated repair at approximately USD 124, with the final price dependent on receiving and inspecting the phone. Total shipping costs were not clarified. A paid replacement was also mentioned without a price. They proposed checking for manufacturing or sealing defects, but simultaneously stated that no free repair or replacement could be offered for liquid ingress. They did not explain what responsibility they would accept if a manufacturing defect were confirmed. I initially considered contributing financially towards a solution. I have now decided not to return the phone under these conditions. It has not been physically inspected by Ulefone, so the precise cause remains unconfirmed. The product page does include a liquid-damage exclusion in its notes. My concern is the expectation created by advertising underwater recording while excluding the resulting damage even for the brief, shallow use I described and documented. As a customer who relied on that capability when choosing the phone, I feel misled. Ulefone says it will close the case if I do not return the device. As of 14 September 2026, I consider the complaint unresolved. ### ★★★★★ I'm using Ulefone mini 20T Pro since… - Sergey · 2026-08-29 I'm using Ulefone mini 20T Pro since October 2025. Initially I bought it as a pocket size thermal camera, but after a week of use decided to switch to it from iPhone 13. Compared to iPhone this tool proposes a great user experience from the beginning. UI snappiness can be tweaked in settings and overall performance is really great. App startup time is about a half of iPhone's. 5-days battery life for my use case is especially great. The 4.7" screen is big enough for casual use cases, but it allows you to hold a phone in one hand comfortable. Signal reception is 3 times better compared to iPhone. The camera is surprisingly good as well and has a good natural color reproduction. By default it records H264 2K video at 30fps and 50 Mbps bitrate with 256Kbps stereo audio. The video codec can be changed to H265 in third-party app like Open Camera (With the maximum supposed bitrate of 100Mbps). Initially the default camera app records sound from the internal mic only, but after Android 16 update it respects external mics, attached via 3.5mm or USB-C. ### ★☆☆☆☆ Not all that rugged - Nicole D · 2026-08-29 I bought my partner a "rugged" phone from Ulefone, because he does maintenance work, and even with a case his phones usually only last 1 year. The ulefone smartphone that I bought him didn't even make it 2 weeks.
