First of all
First of all, the customer service team was superb. They respond swiftly and answered to all of my queries well and even give recommendations. Overall, my online purchase experience was really great. I ordered Purple Ruyao travel tea set, it looks good and packed well. Same goes to the tea, cant wait to try it.
I recently purchased a tea set froExceptional Quality and Authentic Craftsmanship – A Must for Tea Loversm Umi…
I recently purchased a tea set from Umi Tea Sets, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. As someone who appreciates the ritual of tea drinking, I was looking for something that combined traditional craftsmanship with functional elegance, and Umi Tea Sets delivered on every front. From the moment I opened the package, I could tell that the items were handled with immense care. The packaging was incredibly secure, ensuring that even the most delicate ceramic pieces arrived in perfect condition halfway across the world. The quality of the tea set itself is stunning. You can feel the history and the artistry in the weight and texture of the material. The glaze is consistent and beautiful, making it not just a tool for brewing tea, but a centerpiece for conversation. It is clear that these aren't mass-produced items; there is a level of detail and "soul" in the handmade elements that you simply cannot find in standard retail stores. Furthermore, the customer service has been proactive and attentive. It is rare to find a company that follows up to ensure your satisfaction and treats its returning customers with such appreciation. The website is easy to navigate, and the shipping was surprisingly efficient for such specialized items. Whether you are a seasoned Gongfu tea practitioner or a beginner looking for your first authentic set, I highly recommend Umi Tea Sets. Their commitment to preserving tea culture through high-quality teaware is truly commendable. I will definitely be returning for more additions to my collection.
I purchased a travel tea set
I purchased a travel tea set, and it has been a reliable set for me. It is compact, convenient, and I don't worry about it being damaged in transit.

I purchased a gift for my friend and was truly impressed with the overall experience. Everything was beautifully made and of very high quality. The packaging was also done exceptionally well, and we received everything in perfect condition. You can really see the care and attention to detail in every aspect. Highly recommended!
Quality tea set.
I have bought my entire tea set from the handmade tea pot, the mountain fair cup and the handmade white porcelain cups. I was nervous about receiving a box full of broken shards of ceramic and glass in Australia, but everything was packaged with alot of care. The pot came with a beautifully padded box and pouch, excellent to put on display as well as a little certificate card with information of the artist who hand made the pot. I HIGHLY recommend Uni tea sets. The are quick to dispatch and quality if the wares were exceptionally high.
Refund Scam
My wife bought a tea table from them for my birthday in August 2025. The original tray came a month later as did the replacement a month after that. After contacting the seller, they agreed to issue a refund though only through PayPal in November 2025. However, months later, they initiated a dispute on that same transaction. I then discovered the seller had sent the refund disguised as a “Goods & Services” payment rather than a proper refund. This allowed them to falsely claim they “did not receive an item,” reversing this refund. Now we're out almost $400 and had to throw away a pile of broken tea tables from this shady company.
Good Customer Recovery
Good Customer Recovery, But Initial Order Error I recently ordered a tea set from Umi Tea Sets (Order #24588) and initially received the wrong design. This was disappointing as it was meant to be a gift and I had selected Express delivery to ensure it arrived in time. To their credit, their customer service responded quickly once I reached out. They asked for a photo, acknowledged the mistake, and offered a partial refund as an option. I requested that the correct item be resent instead, and they agreed to ship a replacement. The replacement did arrive, which I appreciate. Communication was polite and responsive, although I did have to follow up a few times for shipping updates and tracking details. I am still awaiting clear instructions on how to return the incorrect item that was originally sent. Overall, while the initial packing error was frustrating, the issue was resolved and the team was courteous throughout the process. I would recommend them, but I suggest double-checking your order upon arrival and allowing buffer time if purchasing for an important event.

Umi Tea saves the day
The products from Umi Tea are beautifully crafted and high quality. Despite the careful and elegant packaging, one of the teapots we ordered arrived with a small chip. Being a holiday gift for my partner, I was heartbroken. Thankfully, Umi was quick to respond offering a replacement or full refund. This kind of thoughtful customer service saved the day and really demonstrates the care they take in ensuring a great cuatomer experience.
Wonderful customer service and products
Wonderful products and amazing customer service! They were very quick to respond to any questions we had via online chat or email. We placed an order recently and received it yesterday. The pieces all arrived in perfect condition, their packaging was above and beyond. All if the items are beautiful and well made. We would definitely order from Umi again.

A pleasant company :)
Delightful customer service. I accidentally broke my fine mesh strainer on my new beautiful authentic Chinese tea set and they are sending me a new one as a gift. Very quick response time, accommodating and friendly. And SOOO many types of tea to choose from on their website.
Precise and punctual
I placed only one order and I've been very satisfied. The item (a teapot) is exactly as I saw on the website and it arrived in a fairly short time. The first delivery was not successful and they made sure to check the second one was through. I think I will make other purchases. Thank you!
I love my Yixing Lotus tea set
I love my Yixing Lotus tea set. It's beautifully crafted and excellent for serving guests with. Umi also provides excellent customer service. When I broke the fair cup from my set (I blame the cat), they created a special listing specifically for a replacement and the turnaround was fast and professional. I also have one of their stoneware tea trays with the water feature. Definitely worth a purchase purely for the ambiance.
