Even though I didn't get the data recovered, through out the process, Hermosa was great responding and did the best.

Really easy to use and has the features that I wanted for recovering my files. I do think it's a bit expensive considering some of the alternatives, but the customer support has been great, so that somewhat makes up for it. Do keep in mind that file recovery is never guaranteed. You cannot recover files over 100mb in the trial version at which point you are gambling on the outcome, because unless the files are on an external drive, They'll likely become overwritten quickly at which point recovery is no longer possible. Keep that in mind before you spend any money.

I tried to use AnyRecover to recover my files from formatted hard disk. It has an easy to use UI. The the recovery was not very satisfactory as most of the files could not be opened. However, when I contacted the customer service team, they were very responsive and helpful, and tried to resolve the issue. When it did not work, they finally agreed to honor their money back guarantee, even though they were reluctant in the beginning. So, my rating is for the customer service, not the product itself. So, even if I don't know how effective the recovery software is in different circumstances (in my case it not work), I guess one can try AnyRecovery with the peace of mind that if it does not work, then they will honor the money back guarantee.

Didn't realise that my subscription was on a repeat basis, more charges came through, which they refunded. BTW, it's a very useful product too.

Found all files but failed in restoring the original in some cases. But I am not sure IF the files already was corrupted due to the hard drive failure.
This app has not recovered anything of value from the erased external disk. Movies are jumpy and unwatchable. the movie non existent the photos are unrecognisably coloured and the documents of little use. Expensive and heart breaking.
Could not open files that were converted as they had all been corrupted. Company did contact me and tried but unfortunately they could not retrieve the files But they have refunded me in full hence why I have changed the star rating.
The program was very easy to use but my data could not be retrieved. After some troubleshooting, I decided to cancel my Lifetime License. Although they did not have to refund the charge for the program, they did!! Their commitment to Customer Satisfaction rates as above and beyond.
Software has added malware to my desktop now keep getting advertisement to there products do not install

First of all the customer service was excellent. I was disappointed in the results that I got from trying to recover lost photos. I even ran deep scans but did not find anything other than what I already had. I will give customer service a 5 star and a 3 star for the product. Thank You
ANY RECOVER IMYFONE Does not work. I deleted alot of photos and video by accident. Used the free version which found the files but was very slow. Paid for the full version via PayPal ( glad I did) It took hours to recover the files but not a single one was usable. Out of several thousand. Purchased different software which recovered all but a few that were blank Email to ask for refund, heard nothing for days until I raised complaint to PayPal. Then was asked to close case to pay Pal or "could not refund" PayPal told me not to close as this will mean I am happy with product. Got more emails saying I need to close case before refund. PayPal found in my favour and I got my money back Took weeks Don't bother as is just not up to the job, don't waist your money or time
I wanted to recover one file - but for $80 AUD I'll just rewrite my assessment. Don't bother. It doesn't even show a preview and states that the files are unreadable, so I'm not happy to spend the money on a potential flop.
Ok, so i did a dumb mistake and deleted a number of files, mostly pictures, after transferring them to a new computer. I got the "free" trial version of this program which said you could recover the files. What it did not say was it only allows you to recover three files before you have to buy it, which is false advertising. I spent $48 after tax to get the program license so I could get my stuff back. It did not work as it said it does. One: I could see the files and review them, but if I tried to recover more then one at a time it would say they're corrupted and only restore the ones smaller then 500kb and then crash if I tried to do it a second time. I could restore all of them regardless of size if I did it one at a time. I had deleted around 7000 files, that I had to recover one at a time, because the program couldn't do it all at once.
Works only for videos. I had documents that I wanted to salvage but it turned up blank.
Does not work.... I tried using iMyFone AnyRecover (Windows version) and paid for the 1 Month License... The files were only just deleted and I did not write anything new to the disc, but it did not manage to recover any of the files in any usable manner. They were all unreadable!! I am highly disappointed and contacted them for a refund but there was no response as expected.. I would have had no issues paying for it, if it only worked!!
RIP OFF i tried the free trial to recover files off an SD card. The trial indicated it had 60 files to recover, but I had to pay for a month, a year or lifetime to continue. Just as well I took the cheapest monthly option, the files that were recovered were all unreadable.

Just used this software to try and recover some files. Used it free but had to pay (of course) to recover the files. I did this but have not received any code to unlock the software. Worried this is a scam. The code should have come immediately when I paid my money. I paid by Debit Card. Any advice. I will of course amend this posting if I get a code and it does what it says on the tin. Meanwhile I am also out of pocket.
