I booked two two tours back to back with Borneo Ecotours; we did a 3N Orang Utan tour in Borneo. Then we returned to Jakarta for two days and then onto Flores to go to Komodo for the dragons. We had two friends with us who had never done this type of trip before (we had 8 years ago). Got to the boat and our guide was Ossie. The boat was very clean and tidy and the food was plentiful! Excellent catering every day. As we cruised through Borneo Ossie and the crew kept pointing wildlife out, including a crocodile sunbathing! You walk into the rainforest to the various park feeding stations, and we were not disappointed with the Orange Utans, beautiful creatures. We also saw Proboscis monkeys, Gibbons and other smaller monkeys. Our last evening we stopped when we saw an Orang Utans sat building her nest at the top of a tree, with Ossie imitating the call and talking to her! At the same time we had 30+ Proboscis monkeys just sat around watching us. Our friends were blown away and it was a superb experience.
We then flew to Jakarta and onto Flores to meet our guide Yannis and another well equipped boat. Yannis was very personable and friendly, and again the food was excellent and plentiful. We went to Rinca and Komodo to see the dragons, which was an amazing experience (and now off the bucket list). On the first evening we were shown the Flying Foxes leaving the mangroves to hunt, and we went snorkelling off Pandar which was like being in an aquarium! Again another fantastic trip. 
I just want to say the guides and crews on both boats were fantastic, and special mention to the chefs on both.

We booked our trip via Rustic Borneo for a magnificent visit to a uniquely beautiful part of the world. During our stay at the Sukau Rainforest Lodge we were in the hands of Borneo Eco Tours who had arranged accommodations, river cruises, night cruises and a visit to the Gomantong Caves. 
We probably can't give Borneo Eco Tours all the credit for the enormous quantity of sightings we had during this part of our stay, but we can certainly applaud Eco Tours for the friendliness of their staff, the skills of the guides, the perfectly-executed tours and the very intense experiences we had at Sukau and Gomantong. The guide we had for most of the visit to Sukau - Joy - was the best guide we had during our entire stay on Borneo. 

Thank you, Borneo Eco Tours, for participating in giving us a uniquely memorable stay on Borneo.
