There is indeed sometimes a little smell because our products are freshly made and go straight into the envelope after production. This is usually not noticeable because it takes at least a few days for delivery for most people, but as your Skin was literally made just three days ago, it's a little fresher than the others. As you've experienced, this smell goes away on its own fairly quickly. Thank you for the review; we're happy to hear that you like the Amazon Kindle Touch Skin!

We're sorry to hear that the Skin was not the right size for your laptop. The product that you purchased at https://www.istyles.com/skins/laptop/samsung-laptop/samsung-chromebook-2/solid-state-white-samsung-chromebook-2-skin-p-264087.html will only fit the Samsung Chromebook 2 11.6-inch XE500C12-K01US model. This may fit Chromebook 2 models that are physically identical but it will not fit other models that are physically different. You can custom size a laptop Skin at https://www.istyles.com/skins/laptop/laptop-universal-fit/solid-state-white-laptop-skin-p-5076.html to fit by selecting "Custom Sized", then entering the width and depth that you want the Skin cut to, based on the dimensions of your laptop lid. We'll send you return instructions via email shortly, and a discount code for your replacement Skin set.
