However, after a long exchange with their representative, I was informed that Rapyd does not support merchants based in the Republic of Georgia at all — something that’s never mentioned publicly. If your company isn’t available in a country, it should be stated clearly before potential clients spend time gathering documents and preparing to onboard. Presenting services as “global” while excluding entire regions without disclosure is misleading and borders on false advertising. As a small business operating from Georgia, I expected transparency from a major fintech brand. I hope Rapyd updates its website to list supported countries and communicates honestly with entrepreneurs outside the EU and UK. After raising a serious operational issue, weeks have passed without a meaningful response or resolution. We’ve encountered overcharging in breach of agreed pricing, delayed or missing settlements, and inconsistent reconciliation data that make it nearly impossible to verify revenue, reserves, or fees. Even basic reporting tools, such as downloadable settlement statements by currency, are missing or unreliable. Equally concerning is the lack of accountability and responsiveness from their support and account management teams. For a company managing payment flows and financial operations, such negligence is deeply concerning and poses serious risks to merchants.
