Dear Sungur, Thanks for using Scribbr, and for taking the time to share your experience with us and other Scribbr users. We are sorry to learn that you are not entirely satisfied with both the editor's work and our joint efforts to resolve the issue. Our editors are language-experts, rather than experts in your field of study, which means that they never provide feedback on the content of your text, but on its linguistic components instead. While we understand that you may not be satisfied with the "misidentification of standard field-specific terms" and "incorrect alteration of technical terminology," these fall under content-editing. Since our editors work with Track Changes rather than direct edits, you always have the agency in deciding whether to implement the recommended changes or not. About the inclusion of the term "rainfall" in the citation parenthesis, the editor most likely suggested this change to avoid nested parentheses, which is in line with APA guidelines. You can refer to this article (https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/citations/basic-principles/parenthetical-versus-narrative) for more information. We've been working together to resolve the issue and found that a free new order with a shorter deadline was unfortunately not doable, hence our refund offer. Since your satisfaction is our utmost priority, we reached out to you again after this review was placed, and we're happy that we have since been able to find an alternative solution that you feel more comfortable with. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation throughout this process. If there is anything else we can do for you, please don't hesitate to let us know. Cheers, Stella & the Scribbr team
