我真正的问题？我的情况很简单：一份奖学金，一种收入来源。 Sprintax 让我提交纽约州申报表。事实证明，我从来没有必要这样做。纽约州给我发了一封信，内容正是如此，在我离开这个国家的前一天，我得到了全额退款！幸运的是我。至少有八位和我有同样情况的同事不知道。有些已经离开了。我不知道他们是否能看到这笔钱。
当我多次联系 Sprintax 以了解问题所在并避免明年出现这种情况时，我除了自动回复之外什么也没有得到。当我最终要求一个实际的解释时，我被告知我需要购买后期归档服务，以便他们审查自己的错误！！！！
不，谢谢。你给了我错误的建议，我差点损失了几百块钱，现在我还要额外付钱让你告诉我为什么？

Sprintax is specifically designed for nonresident tax filing, which follows a different set of IRS rules compared to resident tax software like TurboTax.
 
Depending on your tax residency status, the forms you are eligible to file, as well as the deductions and calculations applied, can be very different. This is often why results may not match between systems, even when the same income details are entered. If incorrect forms or residency treatment are used, it may affect the accuracy of your tax return and could require corrections later.
