A-DIY

Hi Eric, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience! We’re thrilled to know that you and your friend had fun building your deck and even more so knowing your 93-year-old grandmother can now comfortably enjoy the outdoors. It’s great to know how easy the setup was and that everything arrived neatly organized. Raising the deck and adding steps sounds like such a smart customization! We can’t wait to see how it looks once you add the railings and pergola. Thanks again for trusting A-DIY to help make your backyard vision come to life. 🌿 – The A-DIY.com Team

Hi Danny, Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback with us! We’re really happy to know that you found the pre-engineered cut lumber convenient and that it helped make the assembly faster, that’s exactly what we aim for. We also truly appreciate your honesty about the areas that could use improvement. Your notes about the inconsistent cuts, decking marks, and the missing 2x6 are extremely helpful for our production team, and we’ve shared them right away so we can continue to refine both our quality checks and packaging process. We completely understand how important clear instructions are, especially when working in areas with limited service, and we’re actively working on improving that part of the experience as well. Thank you again for choosing A-DIY Outdoor Deck and for being part of our builder community. Your feedback helps us get better with every project, and we truly appreciate your trust and support. Warm regards, The A-DIY.com Team

Hi Rya, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this amazing review — it truly means a lot to us! We designed A-DIY with exactly this experience in mind: simple, accessible, and genuinely satisfying. Hearing that you tackled the build mostly on your own (with just a drill!) and ended up with a deck you're proud of is everything we hope for. We’re especially happy to hear our customer support team was able to help when you needed it — we take pride in being there when it counts. And the fact that friends, family, and even neighbors are noticing? That’s the best kind of ripple effect! Thanks again for trusting us with your project. If you ever need anything, we’re always here to help. Enjoy your new deck! Warmly, The A-DIY.com Team

Hi Carrie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We genuinely appreciate all feedback—it’s what helps us continuously improve and ensure our customers have the best possible experience. Our goal at A-DIY is always to deliver high-quality products and exceptional support. We use Grade 1 Southern Yellow Pine that’s pressure-treated and kiln-dried—considered among the best for outdoor decking. As with any natural lumber, slight warping can occur once it’s exposed to the elements. However, once the pieces are properly secured, they should remain stable and structurally sound. We did offer to connect you with one of our design engineers to help troubleshoot the issue, and we truly wish that conversation had happened. If any parts were missing or not up to standard, we would have gladly replaced them—customer satisfaction is our top priority. Based on the photos you shared, it also looks like smaller screws may have been used in some places instead of the deck-specific screws provided. That’s on us—we take responsibility for not making the installation instructions clearer, and we're working to improve them going forward. One of our team members will also be reaching out to you directly by phone to better understand your experience. We take this very seriously, and we want to ensure that every A-DIY customer feels supported and valued. Thank you again for your honest feedback. —The A-DIY.com Team
