However, given the circumstances, we’ve refunded the fee as a courtesy this time. You should see the credit reflected on your card shortly. Regarding your copay, I understand how confusing insurance billing can be. Because we function as both a specialty clinic and a primary care provider, insurance sometimes initially processes visits under the specialist tier. We’re happy to wait for the EOB and reconcile the balance according to your plan’s final determination to ensure accuracy. We are also transitioning to a new billing system to improve clarity and reduce issues like this moving forward.
