Terrible experience. They do not own their products. They send wrong size and ask you to pay more than £30 for shipping back. They do not carr about customer care. They do not provide any mutual solution of your issue. Do not buy anything from here
Do not trust this company!! I ordered a sweater from them that was over $80, it was advertised as being 100% wool. It arrived and it was clearly 100% polyester, which is just plastic. I wrote them asking for a refund and they lied to me, trying to make me believe that the sweater was a wool-cashmere blend. It is not! There’s a bit of a fringe around the pockets and so to make sure, I cut a small bit of the fringe to test it. When the material burns, it beads up and hardens, just like plastic. The sweater is plastic. I’ve had several back and forth emails with this company, even providing video proof of the sweater being plastic, and they continue to lie and insist that it’s cashmere. They refuse to give me a full refund and want me to pay the fee for shipping as well. They’re a lying and scamming company! Do not buy from them!
Company lies and won't give full refund! When they say their clothes are linen, 100% leather, or wool, it's a lie! They sell nothing but cheap plastic with the prices of real natural fibers and materials. They don't give full refunds and they don't admit their lies. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
I have purchased shoes, boots and clothing from Babakud. Nothing has disappointed. I am particularly impressed with the quality of their footwear. The items do take a little longer to arrive, but no more than 6 weeks on average. I am very happy with this company! Xie xie.
I cannot rate this company enough!! I have, to date, purchased 3 pairs of shoes/boots….so well made! So cool looking, and most importantly SUPER COMFY!! I have a few others on my shopping list. So glad i found Babakud! New fav. online shop!!

Babakud has many high quality clothes and I have purchased 6 skirts from them over the last few years. Customer service is excellent, as is customer contact and correspondence. You should know ahead of time that you are ordering directly from China. My previous items arrived within a month to NYC, and the clothing designs I chose are original and flattering. I will definitely order again in the future. These are hip, gifted, young Chinese designers with a minimalist flair, and their retro traditional Chinese clothing designs are gorgeous as well. The prices are awesome as well. Very satisfied.

High alert!!! Don't waste your money ordering from this company. This is a scam. I ordered several items, checkedout, and tried to pay several times using credit card but was not successful, each time flagged my payment as high risk. Thanks to my credit bank card bank which did not allow the payment to go through. I emailed the company to ask if there was a problem whether it was my credit or their company which was high risk. No reply whatsoever whereas previously it was continually nagging me by email that I have something in my cart that needed payment... Definitely a very high risk company to make transaction with!!!
I bought a pair of leather boots but they came to me way too small. Their service email leads to know where so I'm left with no way to return product. Their headquarters email does not work either. Stay away from this company!
I agree with other reviewers - SCAM. I ordered a pair of shoes - had my size in stock and stated will be delivered by a certain time. Email confirmed that money has been paid but after a long while there was still no email regarding my shoes delivery. Then I got another email to say money has been refunded. I sent an email and ask what is the reason money has been refunded (and for a lesser amount). They said the shoes I ordered was not in stock !! But just as I was reading that email, I checked their website and the shoes I wanted with my size is still stated as in stock ! So I have lost $13 in international transaction and exchange fee because of their incompetence !! I emailed and ask them why it is stated that the shoes are in stock when you say they aren't , but they did not reply. What kind of customer service is that ?Don't buy from them. Babakud's website says "Babakud originated in Milan, Italy and was founded in 1990." However, as other reviewer has stated and I note from the name of the account on my bank statement, I think they are actually from China. Don't waste your time or money dealing with them.
SCAM ALERT Product did not arrive. Babakud took no responsibility. They have rigged it so if you do not get your product they still have the right to keep your money. They gave a phone number to call that does not work and an email account that does not answer about problems in a timely manner. Then they declare - that you have waited more than seven days to contact them after the time has run out and do not give a refund or attempt to check for lost items. - probably because it was never sent in the first place.
Hi, guys, I bought a pair of round toe boot and I wore it yesterday. Then I noticed the left zipper on the right boot keep sliding down by itself, about half way down! I am very happy with my dealing with you. Your customer service is particularly fast and makes you feel lime you are in the store. Thanks for the experience. However your freight company in Botswana is frustrating. Communicating with them is just not possible. In my last order, i got my order because you intervened. I am expecting another order from you ,but FedEx is still not communicating despite me trying to reach them. this struggle to get things is just not good. I wish the process could be good from beggining to end.
I like the style of clothing offered. However, every order that I have requested has one or two items that can't be sent because inventory ran out of stock. Inventory should have better monitoring, so out of stock items are not advertised to the customers.
Shoes arrived after several weeks and were a size too large. Size 37 usually fits me perfectly but these are never a 37. The sole of the shoes is too slim just before the heel, so that walking felt wobbly too and I wouldn't have kept them even if the size would have been fine. The sending back process turned into the usual nightmare (unfortunately I hadn't realised order came from China - will never order from China again). Return costs would have been 16 Euro, but because of the current political climate with China and Russia being friendly over the Ukraine war, the German post has now blocked all post to China indefinitely - so I can't even return the order.
The design is pretty. But I don’t think they are made of leather. And quality is cheap! Picture and real thing are so different!
Very pleased Dear Babkud, I am very pleased with the quality of your clothes. It is exceptional to find cotton and linnen outfits these days. No problems with deliveries. One small remark: I don't dare to buy the "One Size" clothes because I fear they will be too small. Thank you and keep up the good work!
