Camp DeForest

This absolutely made our day—thank you! We love knowing a little piece of Camp DeForest found its way into your mailbox! We're especially glad you enjoyed the stickers and your Maine Adventure Book! We hope it inspires plenty of future explorations—and maybe even a visit to Camp DeForest one day so we can help you collect a few stamps in person! Thank you again for your incredibly kind words and enthusiasm. Reviews like yours remind us why we love creating these little pieces of Maine to share with people near and far.

Thank you so much for this beautiful review. We love that Camp DeForest became part of your Vacationland story. Your description of "a slower, sweeter version of summer camp" made us smile. That's exactly the pace we hope guests discover once they settle in—where the day's biggest decision might be whether to light the campfire before or after a walk to the beach. We're especially glad those evenings around the fire became your favorite memory. There's something about a crackling fire, a toasted marshmallow, and a sky full of stars that reminds us how little it takes to have a really good day. Thank you for noticing the care that goes into the cabins and the little details around camp. We hope you took home a bit of that slower rhythm with you, and we'd be delighted to welcome you back whenever you're ready for another session in Vacationland.

Thank you so much for sharing this — it means more to us than we can easily say. We care deeply about every choice that goes into Camp DeForest, from the rooms and their small, playful details to the way the lodge invites guests to slow down and linger. Hearing that this sense of intention and warmth came through is incredibly rewarding. We’re especially touched that Camp DeForest felt like its own little world — a place your family could truly relax into and carry with you afterward. That’s exactly the experience we hope to create. We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon. Until then, happy trails!

Thank you so much — this truly means a lot to us. We pour our hearts into the details, the comfort, and the little moments that create that sense of camp magic, so it’s incredibly rewarding to hear it resonated with you. We’ll be ready when you come back — the campfire will be waiting. Happy trails until then!
