Items not true to size; Communication is slow; Return policy not honored
I ordered two items from this website: 1) 470G Heavyweight Cotton Loop Terry Hooded Pullover Sweatshirt (dark blue hoodie / XL) 2) 470G Heavyweight Cotton Loop Terry Sweatpant (dark blue pant / XL) Cottonnovas return policy is advertised on its website and clearly states: "We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. To start a return, you can contact us at... If your return is accepted, WE'LL SEND YOU A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at" I received the items over two weeks after ordering since they were sent from China. When I received the items, I noticed that they were too small. Their "XL" is really a "M" in America. I sent an email to them stating that I would like to initiate a return. I didn't hear back for five days. When I did hear back, they gave me the address to return the items and told me that I would have to pay to ship them back, which contradicts their stated policy. I sent them an email about their policy and didn't hear back for 3-4 days, before they responded again and told me that I would have to pay to return. The communication was horrid and slow. They offerred to give me a 10% discount if I would keep the items, which I ultimately accepted. I didn't trust them to issue me a full refund even if I did pay to ship them back, so I accepted the 10%. All in all, I will not do business with them again and don't recommend.
