Hi Debbie, Thank you for clarifying — we appreciate you sharing this. We’re very sorry to hear the sleep pants ripped upon first wear. That’s certainly not the experience we want anyone to have, especially with a gift. In this case, the challenge is the timeframe. Our policies are based on the original delivery date rather than the first time the item is worn. Because the order was delivered in December and the concern was reported in late February, it does fall outside of our return and replacement window. While we understand that gifts aren’t always opened or worn right away, we do have to apply our timeframe guidelines consistently. That said, we truly value this feedback and will share it with our product team, as durability is extremely important to us. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
