Eklipse is an AI-powered editing tool that captures your best gameplay highlights and instantly turns them into captioned, share-ready shorts 10X faster than other clippers.
Reviewers had a great experience with this company. Customers love how easy it is to automatically turn long gaming streams into short, shareable clips, saving countless hours of manual editing work. People also appreciate the convenient voice commands and the useful ability to schedule posts seamlessly across various platforms.
Some reviewers were not happy with the auto-editor, mentioning that the automatically generated moments can sometimes feel random, poorly chosen, or entirely unusable for their needs. A few other people also felt that technical bugs hindered their experience, pointing out frustrating difficulties when attempting to export videos or properly connect their social media accounts.
4.5/5 Eklipse.gg is an absolute lifesaver when you work a standard 8-to-5, Monday through Friday. When you’re juggling a full-time job, the last thing you want to do after a long workday is sit at your desk for another three hours scrubbing through endless stream VODs just to find a couple of usable clips.
Now, my evenings aren't consumed by tedious video editing. I just play my game, say "clip that" when something awesome happens, and the AI automatically captures the highlight and turns it into a ready-to-post video for TikTok and Shorts. It keeps my content pipeline flowing on autopilot without eating into my precious off-hours. On the App Store I posted the same thing and yes while I do get overwhelmed with all the clips. I do see thy not every kill or takedown is recorded via AI. I would like that to change because editing out clip that is a bit tedious. So dropping it to 4.5/5 but I guess that’s it. Hope it’s not a big ask. I could always edit it out.
The clipping is absolutely fantastic. Very simplified and only getting better. My only issue is the app needs some fine tuning but maaaan it's such a great start. Works exactly how I want it to, and the fact they added the voice command to clip during stream actually made it magnificent! That convinced me I needed to go premium.
Been using EklipseGG for a few years now and have really enjoyed the service it provides. Saves me a ton of time scrubbing through 4-6 hours streams to find moments.
Once you learn what their system is looking for to help build clips, you can have a better of idea of what is going to come out of the processor.
Free experience is great, premium is worth it though. More storage, faster processing, and bigger game specific collection.
If you are a content creator with a 9-5 job this is the tool for you to use.
As a small streamer with a full time job this app saves me soooo much time from scrolling through my vods to find content to post to social media, I recommend this to all small and large creators out there want to give yourself more time to create content download this today!
Pros:
The concept of automated stream clipping is great for saving time.
Cons:
Low Accuracy (4/10 hit rate) Most clips pulled are just random banter from audio spikes. It tracks volume changes rather than actual clip worthy moments, missing quiet gameplay while clipping useless noise.
Aggressive Paywall: Essential features like literally just exporting your clips are locked behind a $23/month subscription. For new or smaller creators working without a budget, this paywall makes it unusable.
Verdict:
Good idea, but poor AI detection and heavy paywalling make it hard to recommend for growing streamers.
Garbage scam app. Doesn't connect to all accounts like advertised and promised. Once discovered immediately asked for a refund. They denied! Horrible customer service subpar highlight app
I don't understand what I'm supposed to be paying for when I have to pay just to see the results of the work. How convenient. It's a simple scam—don't fall for it.
Completely useless. The tool is clunky and didn’t work at all for me. I paid for a subscription specifically to export gaming clips, but I wasn’t able to export a single one. Instead of refunding my purchase, they pointed me to their no-refund policy and asked me to troubleshoot the product. I paid for a working service, not to spend my time debugging it. Very disappointing experience.
I've been using Eklipse for a couple days now, I paid for premium and it has been pretty good at getting relevant clips from my streams I've had it go through. Some clips that the AI pulled didn't have anything interesting clipped. Slightly confusing to navigare initially. Also paying for premium I expect to have access to all the features but after paying, to have it pull clips from live stream as I'm playing they want another like $27 a month which I think is a bit greedy. But 4/5 mostly
Didn't care for the feature at first because I was using the free portion of it. Once I paid for the subscription and got access to a lot more features it was much better. I don't like that it's $24.99 a month but I do believe the tool is helpful and I will recommend it.
The web app works really well for what I use it for, I really like the auto clipping function as well as the studio for manual editing, and auto-posting for premium games like Call of Duty Black Ops 7.
All the positive reviews about Eklipse that you see online is all made up.
I honestly regret ever giving Eklipse my money.
I subscribed expecting an AI-powered editing tool that could help me create clips from my Twitch content. What I got was an overpriced service with AI editing that was nowhere near the quality advertised and practically useless for my needs.
I used the platform for about an hour before realizing it wasn't worth paying for. The clips were poor, the AI features were disappointing, and the overall experience felt like a complete waste of time.
I contacted support and requested a refund because the service was not even remotely what I expected. My request was denied.
Fast forward to yesterday: I was charged another €23 despite not using the platform at all since my initial test. I contacted support again, explained the situation, and asked for a refund. Denied again.
So now I've paid twice for a service I don't use, don't want, and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
If you're a Twitch streamer, YouTuber, or content creator looking for AI editing tools, save your money and look elsewhere. There are far better options available.
My experience with Eklipse has been nothing but frustration, disappointment, and wasted money.
Consider this a warning from a creator who wishes he had never signed up in the first place.
scam claims to be free but you get nothing for free and everything demands premium
scam, claims to give free ai clips, every game says "premium game" so cannot make clips, also it doesn't auto clip during streams so does nothing, and if your stream is over 2 hours also states you need premium to make any clips, so impossible to make anything as a result go elsehwere
so far I've had no troubles with the app. It's made clipping after long streams less of a hassle. Iv'e just started streaming it's AI clipping feature helps pick out the best possible clips during stream. The views don't lie this is the best clipping app.
Eklipse is perfect for a streamer/gamer like me. I work two full time jobs and have a wife and 3 kids. With that I do not have the most time to devote to gaming/streaming and then video cutting and editing. Eklipse takes the hard work out of cutting and editign by getting me, mostly, great clips from my stream. With the voice command all I have to say is some variation of clip that and Eklipse knows the grab that portion of the video as a clip. Did I mention if you link your stream account, such as Twitch, Eklipse will automatically cut up the stream after you finish and provide you clips. That is like having a paid editor available at demand.
