Expensive CUs. Don't pick 'em for non-EVM or anything that's not eventual pinging.
Expensive CUs. Don't pick 'em for non-EVM or anything that's not eventual pinging. If you can pay for the starter and refills you definitely can pay for your own raw node (sysadmin skills required).
It is evident that the new CU consumption models are way more expensive than when they started. Right now it's cheaper to opt in for competitors' base plans than to keep getting surprises with non-EVM chains that have a significant premium, selective CU pricing. etc. It's better to pick a competitor both in terms of quality and price. Or to just launch your own node if you have the know-how. It'll be way way cheaper at the end of the day. Refills are not worth it either they will evaporate just as fast.
Invoicing editing also has weird bugs that kick you out and make you log in time and time again after saving the information (if they actually save the information). It took an hour to go over a handful of invoice pdfs.
Customer service is also awful, instead of coming with solutions or explanations, they try to sell you the upgraded plan without a second thought. Finishing a few things with them and then migrating to other RPC provision.
I'll never use them again due to these and many other reasons that will take too long to enumerate that have made my blood boil way too many times.
[EDIT after the patronizing HR reply]
You can see how they are shielding the real reasons why this review is so bad. All RPC companies are doing this now so it's your daily reminder to just run your own node.

Hey,
Sorry to hear the recent experience left you frustrated. We want every customer to feel the plan is worth what they pay, so here is some context on the points you raised.
GetBlock moved Shared Nodes to Compute Units in early 2025, roughly 18 months ago (https://getblock.io/blog/getblock-switches-to-cu). The two largest updates since then added capacity at unchanged prices. In June 2026 we raised CU caps on every Shared Node plan by up to 75%, and in July we raised RPS limits by up to 150% (https://getblock.io/blog/shared-nodes-rps-increase/).
We have run nodes since 2019, and every major chain has grown heavier since then. Keeping the prices we launched with would not be realistic for any infrastructure provider.
Per-method CU pricing exists because calls differ in what they cost to serve. The same operation can use very different resources on an EVM chain and a non-EVM chain, and a flat price per request would make light users pay for heavy ones. Most RPC providers bill this way, and our full weight table is public (https://docs.getblock.io/getting-started/plans-and-limits/what-counts-as-a-cu)
As for support: when an account hits its limit and buys extra CU packages again and again, we suggest the next plan because it is cheaper for the customer. Top-ups earn us more than an upgrade does, so that advice works against our margin.
About running a raw node yourself: a GetBlock plan also covers client upgrades, hard-fork handling, monitoring, and failover between our New York, Frankfurt, and Singapore clusters, all backed by our SLA (https://getblock.io/sla/). Our infra team does that DevOps work so yours does not have to.
Best,
GetBlock Team
Straightforward onboarding and reliable multi-chain RPC infrastructure
I registered on GetBlock today to set up blockchain RPC endpoints for my development workflow. The onboarding was seamless, allowing me to generate API keys immediately and track real-time Compute Unit consumption directly from the dashboard metrics. Navigating between different network endpoints took only minutes without configuration friction.
The technical performance has been solid, offering low endpoint latency and broad protocol coverage across dozens of networks under a single interface. Executing JSON-RPC requests across shared endpoints functioned reliably on the first attempt with consistent response times.
As a constructive suggestion, adding direct curl code snippets inside the dashboard next to endpoint URLs would speed up initial terminal testing. Overall, the platform provides dependable infrastructure and transparent usage tracking for decentralized application development.
Flawless multi-chain RPC node provider. Hands down the best in Web3.
We’ve been using GetBlock to power our Web3 project, and it has completely transformed our workflow. What I love most is their massive multi-chain coverage, having access to over 100+ blockchains under one roof means we never have to hunt for different vendors when we expand to new networks.
The endpoints are lightning-fast with ultra-low latency, and we haven't experienced any unexpected downtime. It saves our engineering team dozens of hours a week because we don't have to worry about DevOps or maintaining our own nodes. If you are looking for a reliable, scalable RPC partner that just works, GetBlock is the gold standard
We upgraded from GetBlock’s free tier to a paid plan for use in a production environment. Within the same day, we began experiencing repeated 503 errors across multiple networks including Bitcoin Cash and Cardano, both during the day and overnight.
I logged every incident with timestamps and reported them to support. Instead of addressing my refund request directly, the first agent asked me to provide data that should already be available in their own infrastructure logs. I had to push multiple times just to get the conversation focused on the actual issue.
Hours later, a second agent responded with a breakdown claiming their service remained within SLA, citing a 99.89% success rate on Cardano and around 99.78% on Bitcoin Cash and noting they couldn’t reproduce some of the BCH errors I reported. Based on this, they denied the refund entirely.
Here’s the problem with that reasoning: when you’re running a production system and your node provider throws a dozen 503 errors across two networks in under 12 hours, “within SLA” is not a reassuring answer. A 99% SLA on shared nodes is already a low bar, and hiding behind it to deny a $49 refund to a new paying customer says a lot about how this company values its users.
We canceled our subscription the same day we started it and will also be filing a dispute with our bank. If you need reliable blockchain node infrastructure for anything beyond hobby projects, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Hi, Doruk.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations, especially during a production use case. We understand how important stability is, and even a small number of errors can be frustrating in such scenarios.
Our team reviewed the situation based on the available data and internal monitoring. While the service remained within SLA, we recognise that this may not fully reflect the experience from your side.
To resolve the situation, we’ve issued a full refund.
We value all feedback, as it helps us improve both our product and the way we support our users. If you decide to explore our services again in the future, we’d be glad to assist in finding a setup that better fits your needs.

The absolute worst quality and most unreliable RPC nodes on the market. They somehow managed to have their LTC nodes crash twice in a single day.
If your project is lacking in angry feedback from its users, and your support managers are in need of a serious stress test, I highly recommend connecting to this provider.
UPD*
They're in downtime again. It's been 7 days.
At this point, I can confidently say that if you're using this service, the problem is you. Try deploying the node on your grandmother's microwave; it'll be much more stable.

Exceptional Blockchain Node Service!
Title: Exceptional Blockchain Node Service!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am a long-time user of GetBlock.io, and I want to share my positive experience. I use their Shared TRX node for my startup, and the level of service provided by this company is top-notch.
The onboarding process was smooth and intuitive. GetBlock.io offers a wide range of supported blockchains, allowing me to choose optimal solutions for my needs. The service operates reliably, without any downtime, which is crucial for the continuous operation of my startup.
I particularly want to highlight the responsiveness and professionalism of the customer support team. All my questions and requests were promptly addressed, enhancing my overall satisfaction with the collaboration.
GetBlock.io is a reliable partner for those who value quality and stability in blockchain infrastructure. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a trustworthy node provider for their projects.
Totally unreliable. First, they had the ETH node down for more than several days; they said in the support they would fix it, and they could not do anything to fix for long days period, and now there are issues with Tron. Never use them in production projects

Dear Ivan, thank you for the comment. Our support team contacted you and we fixed the issue the same day, there were some system updates. As we see now, the number of errors for your requests is less than 0,1%, which complies with our SLA. Let us know, if you have any issue in the future, our team is always trying to improve the service and get things fixed asap
I rarely give reviews but for getblock.io I decided to anyway. Getblock's free plan is a great tool for small developers/hobbyists (like me) to fiddle with blockchain development. Along with that, they offer test networks popular protocols like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc. I can highly recommend it thus far. I get helped within an hour through their Discord and their service is accessible.
I will definitely support this platform in the future with their cheap plans for millions of extra requests for a few bucks.
Outstanding support, flexible pricing, frequent discounts and perfectly managed nodes. To me, it's all in one. I am using their services since almost a year now and couldn't be happier.
I looked around for a dedicated full node on BSC and it was super expensive until I found GetBlock. Been with them for many month now and I am still very satisfied with them!
I am using their services and a dedicated node and I must say, both are outstanding.
Support is next-level and the node is capable of dealing with a ton of requests. Not even a single block behind despite the load!
I can recommend GetBlock to anyone who is tired of spending 400% more money on lesser value products & services.
Keep it up GetBlock!
