Outstanding Service and Exceptional Value with Hero Time
I have been working with Hero Time for several years now—a fantastic company with dedicated, professional, and helpful staff. I've mostly worked with Chloe, Wen, and Grace, who are all quick to respond and excellent with communication.
I first heard about this company through an interview with its owner, Hersh, on a podcast I was listening to. I was really impressed with his understanding of the manufacturing landscape in China and his personable approach. I contacted the company and asked to speak with Hersh. He set up a Zoom meeting, and from that call, I knew Hero Time would be the company for me.
One of the additional benefits is their end-to-end service. Not only do they handle the full production of my games, but they also manage shipping directly to my backers.
Before committing fully, I compared their prices with five other providers. Hero Time consistently offered the best overall value. Highly recommend!
Hero Time is a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable, they listen to your requirements and care about the final product. Great communication from the onset, right through to delivery. Many issues came up but they were communicated clearly, and we found the best solution swiftly. We have released 3 titles with them and will continue to do so.
I could write a long review thanking HeroTime for their excellent communication, incredible quality, and attention to detail. From start to finish, they helped turn my board game into a reality, guiding me through each step of the process. The materials are top-notch, and the final product exceeded my expectations.
If you're looking for a manufacturer that truly cares about bringing your game to life, HeroTime is the one. Highly recommend!
Hero Time has been a fantastic partner in bringing my game, Champions of the Hundred Halls to life. When there were problems or struggles, they were quick to help me find a solution. They also helped with the design of the Kickstarter campaign and any questions we had about the shipping process. Due to everyone's hard work, we ended up beating our shipping schedule by two months. I would highly recommend any game designer to work with Hero Time and plan to do so for future games.
Working with Hero Time has been great! They are extremely helpful in answering any questions. As a first-time creator, I have had a lot of questions and Hero Time has guided me through the process of making a great, high-quality card game! Their team is full of capable professionals in many areas of the game-creation scene, and I have felt like my game has been handled with care. They are flexible and timely and I will definitely work with Hero Time again on future projects!
I reached out to many companies to manufacture my game, Super Battle Pets. I had a complicated scenario, and it was tough to communicate with most manufacturers, whose responses were usually short and tough to decipher.
The folks at Hero Time were always the first to respond, their responses were clear, and they went out of their way to come up with a creative solution that fit my needs and budget.
They're the only manufacturing company I've worked with where I feel 100% confident that any question or problem I have will be resolved on their end.
What made working with Hersh at Herotime such a positive process was he was personable. When someone is doing the best they can to help a new start up game producer it makes the hurdles not seem so high. The information he provides on his site to help in the manufacturing and graphics design portion of game board development was essential to a good final product. Hats off to Herotime. I will be using them for my next game!
In early 2023, Aethermon Studios reached out to Hero Time to learn more about the manufacturing process of tabletop games. We organized a video call with Hersh and were impressed by the depth of his knowledge and his passion for independent tabletop games.
Based on our positive interactions, we chose Hero Time as our manufacturing partner for Aethermon: Collect, ordering 3000 units in May.
I’ll be honest, a couple of things went wrong along the way. But when we discovered a problem, we were in direct contact with Hersh within minutes, the games were recalled, then Hersh and his team went to great lengths to find a solution.
In the end we were incredibly happy with the final product.
Based on these experiences, I wholeheartedly recommend Hero Time to any small tabletop publisher. You don’t just want a manufacturing partner who can create a beautiful product (which Hero Time can), but you want a manufacturer who will support you when things go wrong.

Working with Hero Time was one of the best decisions I could have made. They are:
-Incredibly Professional
-Extremely Knowledgeable
-Very Kind
-Easy to Work With
-Super Communicative
My games arrived undamaged and in a very timely manner, not to mention the high quality materials used to produce them.
I will never use another manufacturer so long as I can avoid it. If you are looking for a manufacturer. Use Hero Time.

Personal attention and professional advice that saves time and money
Working with Hersh and HeroTime team is great! Hersh knows his clients on a first-name basis and always gives special personal attention and professional advice that saves time and money. It is reassuring to work with someone with vast knowledge in the field of games and printing, desire, and ability to help with any question/problem that may arise during the process and post-delivery. A one-stop shop for all issues - game implementation, production, standard testing, and shipping.
We have already produced several games with HeroTime that are sold internationally, and plan to produce more, with the help of HeroTime in the near future.

We were so lucky to get in touch with Hershel 3 years ago when we were looking for someone to manufacture our board game. We have been working with Hershel and Hero Time for 3 years now and there is a good reason why we always choose to work with them again. The communication is great and Hershel is always ready to help and come up with ideas regarding the set up, the cost and the delivery. If anything comes up regarding the design they are more then ready to fix it. They always make sure that the games are delivered on time and the work is always perfect! We will definitely continue to work with them in the future.
Partnering with Herotime was a great decision for us. Most Chinese manufacturers barely speak English. But Hersh, the founder, isn’t from China. He moved there like 10 years ago so he speaks perfect English. Highly recommend for ease of communication and their care for quality of each game they produce.
Working with Hershel and HeroTime has been honestly fantastic. I was recommended them by fellow board game designers it was well worth following through with. HeroTime puts a major emphasis on ensuring your game is made exactly the way you want it, and that's not something you can say about all manufacturers.
After striking out with a number of other manufacturers, I came across Hersh and found a relationship that is mutually valued.
Hersh has manufactured two products for me thus far and the process to get to that point as well as the quality of the products has been outstanding.
Hershel and Herotime have been exceptional to work with. We first stumbled onto them while listening to a podcast where they were sharing their knowledge about boardgame manufacturing.
2 years later we wouldn't work with anyone else. Great service, great quality product and always willing to work with us to achieve our goals.
That Sound Game
I had a great experience working with Hershel and the team at Hero Time to produce my new environmental game, Earth Matters. It was a long process, and the team helped me every step of the way. The attention to detail, friendly consistent communication, and ability to produce an eco-friendly game were exceptional. I am grateful to have found Hero Time and could not be happier with the service and end product.
HeroTime made making my game a painless and stress-free process. I had to have them match the components from a game that I previously printed at another company and it came out looking almost exactly the same! (In fact better in many areas!). Hershel was nothing but patient and helpful, and even when there was an issue with a supplier we solved the issue and he got me the games in time for when I needed them. I recommend reaching out if you want to work with a great company! They will work hard to try and get it right!
