This post was made by our head of tech to promote a panel discussing the moral dilemmas of AI. The AI use he referred to was within the tech department (coding), and the example provided was in reference to an embarrassing AI photo of himself attached to the post. Hobbii does not use AI to generate product or pattern images or to misrepresent our yarns. It is not used to replace the work of photographers, crafters, product designers, pattern designers, or content creators. AI is used only for back-end tasks: analyzing admin data, coding, minor translation tasks, and basic customer service inquiries (please do note that human support is always available in our customer services). In Marketing, we’ve used it only as a tool for adjusting backgrounds or visualizing a project in different colors.🧶 We hold a deep respect for the creative arts and the incredible skill of the crafters who bring it to life.
