Industry Era award scam
Industry Era will try to convince you that you've been selected for an award (but they won't tell you why or what the criteria were). They send me about one email every month from a different person saying that for only $1500 they will feature me in their magazine. They claim to be the voice of prominent C-level executives, but I never saw a single name or company that I recognized. When I requested to see a physical copy of their magazine to understand what my very costly "award" would look like, they rejected my request. When I requested my email be removed from their email list (multiple times), my requests were ignored. These are classic signs of a scam.
