Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers experienced severe issues with the ordered items, receiving extremely small packages instead of the large products shown in online advertisements. People felt that the high prices were completely unjustified for such minimal and poor quality goods.
Some reviewers were not happy with order fulfillment, noting that shipping confirmations were never sent and packages arrived unexpectedly after long delays. Some people also felt that reaching out for customer support or trying to cancel purchases proved extremely frustrating when trying to resolve problems. Consumers frequently expressed concerns regarding the accuracy of product listings.
I don’t even think this company is the one star worth. You won’t get the same product as advertised, stay away! I’ve Ordered the Premium Fig, Walnut & Sesame Superfood Bites, got x4 little pieces for $58, which means almost $15 a piece!! It’s a pity I can’t upload a photo to show what I received. Even gave them a $5 tip 😡 I fell for it and regretting it ever since. What a ripoff they are!!
I just got my order for Premium California Fig, Walnut & Sesame Superfood Bites. I am beyond disappointed and so angry. I watched the videos on YouTube and was so stupid to not research before buying. What they show and what I got are NOTHING alike. I got a total of SIXTEEN 'bites' that are a quarter of the size shown in the videos. They came packed four each in tiny brown paper bags, and these all in a tiny brown box. There were no big bags of big bites. I paid 86.51 AUD for this!! And, they come from China, they are not made in California. They are laughing all the way to the bank and I am kicking myself!! They are scammers, liars and thieves. I have a picture to show what I got, not sure I will be able to upload it, but what I got was NOTHING like in all the pictures in their promos and on their website.
Kloiadka fig/walnut bars are total scam made in China and not in California as they claim.
COMPLAINANT REPORT NOTES:
The consumer has firsthand knowledge that the operator of "Kloiadka" is engaging in deceptive marketing, false advertising of product origin, and extreme price gouging.
SUBJECT COMPANY:
- Brand Name: Kloiadka (Kloiadka.com)
- Product: Kloiadka Fig and Walnut Bars
- Advertised Price: Approximately $49 per box
- Marketing Platforms Used: YouTube, Social Media ads
REPORT DETAILS & SPECIFIC VIOLATIONS:
1. False Country of Origin Claims (Deceptive Marketing)
The business heavily advertises on YouTube claiming that their premium fig and walnut bars are manufactured locally in California, USA. This is a complete deception. The products are manufactured overseas in Kunming, China. The advertisements deliberately obscure the original brand names and feature recycled footage to mislead American consumers into believing they are buying a domestic, premium artisanal product.
2. Substandard Production & Health Concerns
Firsthand inspection of the actual manufacturing facility in Kunming, China, reveals that the factory conditions do not meet basic sanitary and cleanliness standards required for food manufacturing. Consumers have independently reported a strange, metallic taste, raising potential food safety and health risks for an item marketed as a clean, premium snack.
3. Predatory Price Gouging and Product Misrepresentation
The company implements an extreme markup, charging premium prices (~$49) for low-cost, mass-produced items. While the video advertisements showcase large, appetizing, gourmet-sized portions to induce sales, the actual product delivered to consumers consists of tiny, shrink-wrapped 5-gram bars that bear no resemblance to the promotional media.
4. Lack of Customer Support and Refund Fraud
Consumers report that the company operates a classic "fly-by-night" e-commerce scam—ignoring customer service inquiries, refusing refunds, and providing no legitimate domestic corporate address or contact avenues once payment is processed.
REQUESTED ACTION:
We request that the FTC and BBB investigate Kloiadka's deceptive advertising practices on YouTube, issue consumer warnings, and coordinate with ad platforms to remove these predatory commercials to prevent further financial harm to the public.
BEWARE! I ordered their Fig and Walnut Cheese Bites. Advert shows normal expected size for a cereal bar. The ones I received were about the size of a stock cube, for which paid £39. Total con. Do not be fooled.
This company does not tell you the amount of product you are going to receive for the money. Don’t do it! I got the starter pack and paid $42 for three potato wedges… Not even a full potato!
Fraud!!!
The fig walnut bars were tiny (5 gms) and shrink wrapped in some sort of polymer not as presented in the advertisement. Also they had a metallic taste so I spit it out and am thinking about having them tested to see what they really put in them. They come from China. Wuhan Lab comes to mind ...
This company is a scam. They are advertising fig and walnut bars as though they are a California company when in fact if you scroll far enough you see they are a Chinese company in China. There are so many Chinese scam companies especially in clothes, handbags and jewelry. You either get absolutely nothing or garbage products that don't work. Government needs to step in and make sites vet and verify companies. China is going berserk in scamming through all kinds of products and this company is one of them.
This whole thing is a scam. DO NOT BUY THEIR RUBBISH. Parcel arrived this morning in a box 6 inches long. Inside were 4 one-inch sized cubes of this stuff supposed to be fig and walnut slices.Upon reading the reviews here I will not try eating them, just throw them in the bin.I wish I'd had the foresight to look at Trustpilot beforehand. They were sent from China not USA. I will never buy anything online again before reviewing Trustpilot - lesson learned!!
Caveat emptor! Was caught on a back foot and bought some of their fig and walnut pies without researching the product first. My advice is to look closely at the weight of the product that they are going to send and then at the age of the model eating it to get an idea of the size of these things. Can't comment on the taste as I have thrown them in the bin.
BIG SCAM, DON'T BUY! Paid £49.22 expecting what the advertised box of bars BUT ONLY 4 LITTLE PACKS ARRIVED, WITH ONLY 4 LITTLE MINUNITE FIG BARS IN EACH. TOTAL 16 FIG BARS =£3.12P EACH MIMUNITE BAR.!!!!!
TOTAL CON JOB!!!. TOTAL MISREPRESENTATION
NOW I'M GOING TO TRY TO GET MY MONEY BACK!
I ordered their walnut black sesame fig cakes, supposedly fresh from California Farms. They first of all were white sesame and cranberry. I didn’t even get what I ordered. Secondly, they look absolutely nothing like what is advertised on YouTube. The ones on YouTube are big and look really appetizing. These are extremely small. Maybe 1 inch by half inch in size. Furthermore, these “California “fig cakes are in packages with Korean writing on them. I bet if I had gone to the local Korean market I could’ve found the exact same thing and saved myself at least 50% of the cost. I was foolish and enough to order two more things from this website which I have not received yet. I just have to wonder how completely inferior they will be to what they are advertised as.
I was sadly suckered by their "California fig bar" ad on Youtube, and I am more sad because I did not come to Trustpilot first for these reviews. Instead of a box or bag or basket of bars shown to be the size of one's hand in the ad, what arrived was a tiny little pouch of 4-5 postage stamp size items, apparently food of some kind. I did not open them, and attempted to follow their return policy -- phone does not work, and no reply to multiple email requests. I am attempting to lodge a fraud complaint with my credit card. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR.
The product named Kloiadka fig bars came in approximately 8 days after ordering. What I got was a small box containing 4 fig bars that would encompass essentially one bite per fig bar. For this, I paid a little over $49.00. The add over You Tube heavily and pictorially implied a larger amount of fig/walnut bars and bigger, to boot. I emailed the business and have yet to receive a response. I have not yet tasted the product as I'm hoping to send it back for a refund. Had I read the reviews before ordering, I would never have purchased this product, nor any other, from this company. Anyone wishing to order anything from this outfit should beware of their business practices. What I got for $49.00 + change is not only a joke, but also an insult to honest business practices.
Trustpilot is great, id wish they would report these scammers as well. Iv bought 3 items now going through these add pop ups on youtube, i think youtube are in on these scams because there leaving these sites run on there platform and are doing nothing to stop these scammers. Youtube are the problem here, iv bought things off bitchute, joom and other platforms for years without a single insident and 3 out of 3 times ripped off on youtube adds. So youtube is definatly in on these scams without a single doubt in my mind. Go eles where ladies and gentlmen to get your products..
Not worth your money. It’s more of a scam. Beware of their marketing gimmick!!!
Sounds like a great deal of buy one get one free. Purchased and was enraged at the small pieces of fig walnut for a very hefty price. Will never purchase again. It is more of a scam. Do not fall for their gimmick. I paid almost sixty dollars for only 8 small pieces. Each piece is maybe about 1 inch square. Marketing on YouTube shows larger pieces looking like a 4x4 piece instead of a one bite piece. Do not order. Waste of money
I ordered fig & walnut bars. They were supposed to be from an organic farm in California. The add showed large bars about 4" square. They arrived from China and were about one inch square. for $72.00 I got about $.50 worth of fig bars.
First of all, they charged me $45 for 4 little pieces of their stupid fig pie, the taste, awful, don't look nothing like the advertised. It's horrible and each little piece is only about an inch by an inch square. And I paid that much for that, what a scam Don't buy from them. The food is terrible. It doesn't look like it does in the ad and it's horrible tasting, it'll make you sick. It's disgusting.
No communication from them about the shipping of the fig and walnut bars. I saw an icon for tracking and the moment I clicked on it and a message flashed about a scammr site, it said DANGEROUS, FRAUDULENT and don't click on it. Do not share your info, address, credit/debit card etc. I said to myself too late. I immediately went to my bank account and saw that the transaction are still in process and they didn't get the
money yet. So today I called the bank, explained the issue and stopped the payment. I also then saw the reviews on Amazon because I wanted to see what their customers said. That is when I realized it is a scammer company.
