Dear Holly, I apologize that you were unhappy with your experience. We actually provide pre-printed material samples for free. This enables you to touch and feel the materials and see the range of color and detail. If our customers want a printed sample of an image they provide or a specific image from our library, we do charge for those since they are custom printed. And if your goal is really to get a sense of how a mural will look in your room, our virtual vizualizer is excellent, free and you don't have to wait for results: https://www.muralsyourway.com/answers/wallpaper-mural-virtual-visualizer Again, I apologize it didn't work out with us. But I hope you enjoy your wallpaper and give us another shot in the future. Don't hesitate to talk with one of our knowledgeable and helpful Account Managers. Sincerely, Greg Yoch, Murals Your Way
