I am a regular buyer and never had any issues. To be honest, I am shocked to see the negative reviews. The products are first class, the prices are very reasonable. Their customer services are friendly and quick to respond. Yes, their sizing chart is different to ours and you have to pay attention to that. Just send them your measurements and they will help you choose the right size. Out of all the items I only had to return one, a jacket that was too small (I wear L and I bought an XL but had to send it back and change it to an XXL. I sent it by Royal Mail tracked and it cost me £27. They didn't even wait until they received the goods but once they got a notification from the post that the parcel is on the way to them, they already sent out the replacement. Massive 5 stars from me!
I would warn against buying from Olderbest. The clothing itself is good but as other reviewers have pointed out the delivery comes from China. I have returned a £150 jacket ( too small) and 5 months on have still not received my refund as it is still stuck in customs. It is tiresome having the same conversation with their Customer Services team. Deeply disappointing.
I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from purchasing from Olderbest. Yes, the items are of high quality, however they are shipped from China, so if you decide to return items for any reason, it will cost upwards of £50. I sent items to be returned two months ago, and I am still waiting for my refund as the items are stuck in customs in China. The customer service team is not helpful either.
I will NEVER purchase clothing from Olderbest again as I find it to be very deceiving that the website says they are based in London, however the truth is that they are based in China and do not offer to help with shipping costs if you need a refund.
This is my second experience of this company and service and quality has been excellent, including an attempt to provide helpful advice on sizing. On reflection I wouldn't have taken all the advice I was given (one shirt an excellent fit, the other a touch large) but that's life and not an enormous issue. Delivery was also much faster than expected.
Bought my jeans then researched the company and saw a bunch of bad reviews so I was freaked out thinking I’d been scammed. However, the jeans came and quickly, the quality is 2nd best I own now n I love them. Tempted to buy another pair, Asian sizing mean for me (uk based) I had to get the XXL size.
Scam company. Based in China. They run a scam based on postage and only giving vouchers for postage refunds.
I ordered a coat. Customer service got in touch and advised me to up my size. When it arrived it was way too big. They said could return but i pay postage. They will give vouchers to cover the cost of postage.
Postage was anywhere between £50 to £100 as it's a Chinese address.
Avoid at all costs
Item lost by their courier. They requested I get the courier to investigate and state item lost or misplaced. The courier did this. I forwarded exactly what they requested so I could be refunded. They then state they need to do more international investigation (since they r in China) so yes they lied to me and made me do busy work when they had no intention of refunding me once I did what they asked. Thankfully PayPal refunded me in my claim. Olderbeast is shady
Olderbest is absolutely first class . I was unsure what size to buy and I contacted Customer Services. I received a quick response which was more than helpful. Other companies could learn a lesson from Olderbest . On the basis of my experience and the quality and style of the Company’s range of clothing I will certainly buy again . I have no hesitation in giving Olderbest five stars.
Bought t-shirt. Good quality. Arrived in reasonable timeframe. Team were very keen to ensure correct sizing so proactively contacted me. Very good communication.
Second time ordering from olderbest now and I will continue to use them. Excellent quality products and very difficult to find anything as good anywhere else. Yes, it takes time to arrive but always worth the wait. Just check sizes etc. first. I was actually contacted by the company to help with sizing before they dispatched which was great. Nice touch.
I love the garments made by Olderbest, they are quality made items, with style and the looks and feels of the real authentic stuff.
I had only positive experiences with this company.
Ordered an item that arrived too small - absolutely fine - was told they did free returns. I then however had to pay £23 to return the item to China. They then shipped my exchanged item which never arrived. After battling them for days they told me it’s not their fault if the item doesn’t arrive. I’m £120 out of pocket and have no item. Outrageous.
Just made my first purchase from Olderbest, 30's style Belt Back jacket. Just superb. Excellent communication, great service and beautiful jacket. James even e mailed me to check on a few measurements prior to shipping to ensure a good fit. The shipping fast fast, free and efficient, with good tracking every step of the way. I will most definitely recommend them and and will certainly shop with them again. Thanks guys.
This is a great company. Very polite and courteous and want you order the best fit size for you. On receiving the products you will be so pleased with the quality and fit. I was, I am. Ordered twice and am now going to place my third order.
