Disgraceful customer sevice. Paid £100 for clothing and it’s never been delivered. Ive been told i wont be offered a refund either. I Chased up with royal mail who state they have delivered it… they havent! they have been completely useless also. Absolutely awful experience all round. Avoid at all costs!!!
I placed my first order from Olderbest a month ago, and now I’m pleased to say I can leave a very positive review. They are very quick to pack and ship orders, and shipping from China to the U.S. has been surprisingly fast in my experience. There’s no need to be a hesitant shopper—the clothes come from good-quality brands, and the quality matches the price tag. The brands they have chosen are ones that really go the extra mile to recreate clothing from different eras of the past. A pair of 1940s-style pants I bought even had a cinch buckle/back adjuster. Button flies, loopwheel T-shirts, and all sorts of other interesting historical details make the clothes feel that much more authentic than typical vintage-inspired clothing. Lastly, Paul from customer service was quick to respond, understanding, and accommodating. This is especially reassuring considering I am ordering clothes internationally (I don't always have this experience!), and I am more confident to place an order in the future. I’m very glad to have stumbled upon this company. Olderbest is a hidden gem, and they’re doing great work.
Item was ‘undeliverable’ and sent back to China. They have since refused to give a refund as they’ve ‘not received it back yet (it’s been over 6 months). Worst experience I’ve ever had with a retailer.
I purchased a shirt that was too small. They agreed to accept a return and to issue a refund. After getting it back to them they sent me a email stating that the shirt was stained (Id worn it for about 5 seconds when I tried to pout it on). There is no way I could have stained it as it had been out of their packaging so briefly. The only explanation for the stain is either it was there when I received it or they applied it in order to avoid a refund knowing that a customer would never think to check for stains on a shirt they have barely worn. Obviously they advent issued the refund. If you do purchase anything from this company and need to return it please make sure you document the item thoroughly before returning it so that can''t try to pull this on someone else.
I bought a couple pieces, one overshirt and one jacket. I kept only the first one (which I like very much) and refund of the jacket was actually pretty smooth. Quality and design are great, but I strongly agree with many of the reviewers here who complain about sizing. If you take a look at their sizing tables, you´ll often realize that they are quite weird, not only in terms of scale (they always run small) but in terms of proportions. I´ve been on the fence of buying 3-5 pieces and I´ve just stopped short of pulling the trigger because proportions seemed all over the place. Not sure what their strategy is, but if they want to make a deeper inroad into Western markets, they really need to take a look into their sizing system.
I bought a Breton T-shirt via a Facebook ad, and then almost completely regretted it when I read some dodgy reviews. However, despite the T-shirt being too large (my fault), they initiated a return and then posted me a new smaller one. All tracked, too. So no complaints.
I had entered the wrong delivery address for my last order and immediately contacted the website's chat support. They intercepted my package and corrected the address. They were very responsive, and I thank them. I received my order on the scheduled day.
54 days and counting. No clothes. They say it’s stuck in customs. No help. And they refuse to refund my money. AI- generated anwers with a new name on it everytime.
Chinese based company that doesn’t adhere to UK consumer rights laws, will refuse refunds. Olderbest uses fake names and relies on AI to write email responses. They will send over 20 replies and still refuse to refund any orders, even if they deliver to the wrong address. Only buy from them if you’re genuinely willing to take the risk. If anything goes wrong, you’ll likely have to do a chargeback with your bank. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written on Trustpilot. This company is so bad. Blatantly defying consumer rights laws which is both unlawful and ridiculous.
We had a delivery that was not received. We are now some 20 emails in coorespondance with Olderbest and they refuse to refund or replace. There is no contact telephone number. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I bought a large sized sweatshirt & it was great, so good I bought another & that's when it started to go wrong...the 2nd sweatshirt, whilst labelled 'large' was very small. They did exchange, that went well but the 3rd sweatshirt was still too small (still a large, the same as the 1st good fitting one). So this time I asked for a refund. I was told, "you can only exchange or refund once per order." What?!! No amount of emailing would make them budge, just a polite "no." I'm not even sure this is legal in the UK but of course they're not based here. So, be aware, what seems like good service quickly deteriorates...
Excellent value for money. The clothes are good quality and well made. I have only had great experiences with their customer service. I believe the returns fee is fair considering this is a china based company, and the environmental footprint excessive returns cause. My only criticism is the fact that not all sizing translates well to western sizing. Trousers and sleeves have come up short often on me being 6'3. Overall great company which I am always keeping an eye on for new releases.
I would agree with some of the comments below regarding this companies return policy. I bought a beanie for £18 and they charged £5.99 delivery. The hat was too small but only comes in one size so can’t be changed for another. Then they were going to charge £6 to return it. Not worth it. They did offer a credit but that means I would having to buy more from them:
Terrible return policy. I had 5 days left in the 30-day return window and they refused it bc it takes them 7 days to process ( WHAT?!?). They later agreed to let me do a 1-time size exchange. I returned the jacket and they then refused it again, claiming there was a stain on the back. The jacket was never worn except for 30seconds to try it on. All tags and bags intact. It was for my son’s birthday so it was in the package until I gave it to him and then we immediately realized it was too small. They now have taken my money AND kept the jacket. It’s just unreal! We will never ever shop here again, what a terrible experience!

Honestly could not be happier with the service let alone the product at a very reasonable price. The quality to be truthful is far far better than I expected. Have purchased a jacket and coat they will not be my last . Very happy customer

I have never experienced online service like this! Immediately after ordering I received a very friendly e-mail asking about my size. Some e-mail conversation followed and after Olderbest was sure about my size they changed my order and sent the products. Everything fits like a glove! Very happy with this. No returns necessary! 10/10 would order again!
I made several purchases, the goods always matched the specifications, delivery was fast, and all fees were included in the price, so there were no problems with customs. In case of any uncertainties, customer support resolved the issue. The product range is interesting, the service is professional, I can recommend this store. Occasionally, there was a problem with clothing sizes not matching the size charts, but this is a shortcoming of most Chinese stores. For more expensive items, it is better to request a re-measurement before shipping.
