Dangerously real looking site - that totally isn't!
This site looks very authentic but it is completely fake, offering legitimate looking products for heavily discounted prices. I placed an order for $76 and immediately got a confirmation that I had authorized a purchase of $600 to a random Japanese Paypal account. Checkout on the site looked like any other - with no mention of PayPal at all. When I checked my PayPal account, the charge was scheduled to happen but for $728! A quick chat with PayPal flagged the transaction and a call to my back blocked it from going through so far. A quick Google check showed there are many fake sites for this brand - so just beware!
I purchased a bag and within just one week, one of the handle screws lost . I contacted the company expecting a proper solution, but all they offered was to send me screws so I could fix it myself.
I didn’t pay 400$ for a faulty item or a DIY repair job — I expected a quality product that lasts. This response shows a lack of responsibility and care for customers.
Very disappointed with both the product and the service. I won’t be buying from them again.
SCAM ALERT!
I bought an item from Target from Opalhouse and needed an additional one but it's no longer available on the Target website. I found this website and was so excited, I ordered two curtain rods on March 7, 2025. Shortly after placing my order, it had vanished from my account on their site. I never received an email confirmation but I did screenshot my order page (thank goodness). A week had gone by with no updates and I got worried but I used PayPal for payment jic and was able to see that there was a payment of $42 from DYEBAR CHEEN CO., LIMITED on March 7, 2024 matching the amount. So I clicked on the tracking and the tracking said it was coming from China Post EMS Express Mail Service and it was clearing customs, I checked every day for 2 weeks then randomly it said it would be delivered that day. It said that for 6 more days then randomly said it was delivered March 27, 2025 and there was no delivery. Checked my cameras to be sure and nothing. Posted in our local fb groups and nobody had the package. Something bothered me about it so I googled it and found this thread.

I was able to report a problem and dispute the charges. PayPal gave me a full refund and now I'm on a mission to see if I can report the website. They got me all excited about getting me cute pineapple and Sunrise Curtain rods but instead I got scammed and I'm pissed. I have some time on my hands so I'm going to see if I can get the site taken down somehow.
This website is an impersonation scam site of the actual website which is opalhouseshop.com. They have poor grammar and generic/vague trust badges. They don’t collect tax on the order. There was a banner at the top that said something about free shipping, but it wasn’t clickable and had no further details. I didn’t receive an order confirmation, but thankfully I used PayPal and got a refund through them. Their PayPal shows up as “Beestones LLC” under “Kimberly Da.”
I just made an order-
1. I didn't receive an order confirmation,
2. I was charged twice for my order by two different people
3. one of the merchants increased the amount to a higher amount then the one I had authorized without asking for permission nor informing me about the reason for the increase. I have reason to believe that this is a scam and I already contacted paypal, my credit card and bank.
This website is totally ridiculous. I placed an order November 16 and I have not received my candles and they took it out of my account already $40. There website is terrible. You can only freaking email them 500 times no phone number. No nothing. I think it’s a scam do not buy anything from this website I couldn’t order the candles on target so I had to go directly to them, which is oval house…
I'm not sure if it's a fake site or not, but I placed an order and did not receive any confirmation either on the site or in email. In fact, the site appeared to crash, but the payment sure went through! I did not receive a receipt, or shipping information. No response to emails sent via the "contact" section. Never received my items. Filed a dispute with PayPal and received what appears to be fake tracking information. USPS said it was ineligible for further investigation.
