MINIMUM STANDARD OF USABILITY OF PRODUCTS
So far, I have bought 3 items under PowerPac Brand. They are: 1. Fruit Blender - a few years ago. It was considerably cheap at around $25. The first time I switched on to use, the machine generated loud cracking sound which I presumed to be OK to proceed to use. Through midway of using, the cracking sound became louder with sparks flying out from the bottom of the machine. I threw away without much regret because I did not expect it to work like any better known more expensive brand. Not a single proper fruit blending was done. 2. Deluxe Rice Cooker - I bought it at around $25 a few years ago, but very seldom use as I used to eat out. Total number of usage could be around 15 times. Today, 21/07/2026, I tried to boil some rice porride. When I swiched on the power supply it caused total electrical power tripped. I tested on all my other electrical items throughout a few times, even with different cable connections and found the fault was with the rice cooker power inlet which I do not know how to rectify. I put aside and will discard it. 3. Multi Cooker - I bought it around $25 a few years ago, but very seldom use. I transferred my porridge cooking today, 21/07/2026, to this cooker. This cooker still works, but I needed to adjust the unequal height level by putting around 10mm of solid support at the bottom of the heat control knob to level up the water level. I do not wish to make any complain but to highlight that quality of products have to meet minimum standard of usability even though they are cheap as compared to more expensive brands. All above items were bought at Giant Supermaket at Telok Blangah Crescent.
