Successful manufacturing with RapidDirect
I found RapidDirect a great company to deal with. There communication was prompt and friendly and my parts were delivered on time. I have used their injection molding service, their CNC service, and their vacuum casting service. The quality of the CNC machined components was excellent, and it was well within all tolerances I specified. The delivered parts were clean, well packaged, and free of burrs - which has been difficult for some other companies I've used. I'm also very pleased with injection molded components. The initial test parts I received needed a minor revision, but RapidDirect rectified this immediately and the first delivery of parts were fantastic. I'm very pleased the quality and also with their service.

Excellent experience—highly accurate parts and great service Quality & Visuals: Good overall finish. Dimensions & Tolerances: Well within the specified tolerances. Critical dimensions were spot-on, leading to zero fitting issues during assembly. Lead Time & Price: Much faster at a reasonable price. Rapid Direct communicated clearly about what was achievable and were proactive in proposing alternative solutions. One of our parts was very small, and they thoughtfully included an extra piece in the order. Highly recommend Rapid Direct to anyone looking for a reliable manufacturing partner!

I have ordered multiple parts so far
I have ordered multiple parts so far, multiple materials, and multiple processes. 3D printed aluminum intake plenum with machined features for a turbo engine, 3D printed SS exhaust header collector, and 5-axis machined generative designed race car uprights. All parts were manufactured to our tolerances. Some of our tolerances were very tight, and some they suggested adjusting to potentially reduce cost. Amy’s customer service was amazing throughout the process. She was diligent, detailed oriented, and very responsive. We were given feedback on our designs to help improve manufacturability. It was reassuring that they only quoted a price after requesting all dimensions and tolerances. The quoting process through their online portal is very intuitive and convenient. The cost is reasonable enough even for a hobbyist building for fun in their garage. Can’t recommend their service enough. We are sending them more parts for machining.
