Regarding the rate adjustment, there are times when a surge in demand around a customer's desired shipment dates can lead to limited carrier availability. In those situations, to help accommodate the requested pickup timeframe, we may offer an optional rate increase. Customers are always free to decline the updated rate and cancel their shipment at no charge if they do not wish to proceed. After you advised us of the items in your vehicle, we immediately contacted the carrier to clarify the situation. Based on the information you provided, the carrier did not pursue the additional charge. As for the top load service, carriers may rearrange vehicles during transit and before delivery to safely and efficiently unload vehicles. Because of this, a vehicle that was transported on the top deck may be moved to the lower deck prior to delivery. We understand why this caused concern and apologize for any confusion. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as feedback like yours helps us improve.
