Scrum Alliance

Hello Leong, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on Scrum Alliance's renewal process. We understand your perspective of the costs and effort required to renew one's certification every two years. While earning a certain number of SEUs is required to renew, please note you're not limited to resources, webinars, or courses offered by Scrum Alliance. As long as the continuing education is related to scrum or agile (e.g. reading a book, writing an article, attending events, etc.), it will be eligible for SEUs toward your renewal. Your renewal fees are invested in supporting local user groups, Regional Scrum Gatherings, and other events held by the agile community, for the agile community. You also receive the following benefits with your Scrum Alliance membership: • Self-paced, interactive courses created by our expert-level community of trainers and coaches, with new topics being added regularly. These include videos, templates, and other resources to help you grow as a scrum practitioner. • Discounts on Scrum Alliance's on-demand microcredential courses • Discounts for our Global Scrum Gatherings and Regional Scrum Gatherings held across the world. • Tools from Comparative Agility • An extended free trial of Businessmap's enterprise agility platform. • Discounts for Miro for eligible members With all that said, we sincerely appreciate your feedback about the renewal fees and requirements. If you would like to share more with us, please contact [email protected] and we would love the opportunity to connect.
