The alarm sound is intentionally programmed to escalate gradually over time, starting at a lower level to provide a softer wake-up experience. In addition, it sweeps through different frequencies to help optimize audibility across a wider range of hearing profiles. This approach is designed to make the alarm both effective and more comfortable compared to a sudden, fixed sound.
