Mario, We are happy to hear you were pleased with your casket. Unfortunately, you are in a tricky place down in Laredo. There are no airports anywhere within 100 miles of there so trying to fly it close by was not an option. We did offer to have you come pick it up from us in San Antonio to save you money on the freight charges and you declined, which is fine. You were offered an option to reduce charges though. That being said, we did go over all of the charges and the total with you and had you sign off on it. We have this on paper. It does cost money to ship big stuff. At the end of the day, we were honored to serve you and we hope you were able to have a beautiful service.

Michael, You guys called us and ordered a casket that you needed shipped out ASAP. We put in the order and got it moving right away for you. You called back hours later at about 6:30 PM and said that some of the family members didn't like the color so you needed to order another one that was a different color quickly and on the sly (Neither the quick time for services nor you putting in an order for one that other family member didn't like was our doing in any way, shape, or form). We put in your order after hours and called some employees back in to get it going ASAP again for you. We got the caskets delivered in time for your loved ones funeral services with the understanding that we would try to help you resell the initial casket that you had purchased that your family members didn't like. This was because you guys had told us that money was tight and you didn't want to pay restocking or cancelation fees and we agreed to this. I'm sorry we weren't able to get it sold in the area right away. Maybe, like with your family, it wasn't a popular color combo for that area. We did suggest that maybe a family member could temporarily stand it up out of the way in their garage since it was in a crate while we continued to try to move it in the area. That didn't work for you guys and that's fine. You quickly filed a chargeback and got your money back after having your services while still having the original casket that you guys ordered. Now you have the casket and the money that was paid for the casket. Meanwhile, we are out a casket, the cost of shipping the casket, the overtime pay for calling people back into work on your behalf, as well as the initial time invested. As far as professional and compassionate, we could have simply said, "Sorry we sent what you ordered. That's your fault not ours" and not helped get the one you want there. We could have said, " Sure we can sell you another casket but you'll have to wait on it as you've called in after hours and it might not make it in time for your services". We didn't though, we called people back in to work after they had gone home to make it happen for you and your family. We busted our butts to make sure that you got the casket you wanted in time for your services after your mistake due to having compassion for the situation but that seems to be lost on you. You've admitted to ordering and getting the merchandise that you guys ordered (again, not our mistake), as well as getting all of your money back for it via chargeback. Please feel free to send our merchandise back to us at your earliest convenience as we've invested a lot of money in shipping it and everything else. If you would like to have a conversation please feel free to call and we can discuss. There's no hard feelings we would just like our casket back since you got your money back.

With all the stress and heartache going on planning a funeral, the last thing you need is more stress. We're glad we were able to provide a smooth experience for you and were honored to serve your family and your brother.
