We attended the Save a Life campaign with St Johns Ambulance event in Griffiths Drive, Willenhall. We spoke with David Glover who gave us and explained several procedures which we found extremely interesting and also came away with explanatory leaflets, so much so that we are thinking of attending a training course. Thank you David
I attended A St. John Ambulance 2 day First Aid re-training course on 11th and 12th September, at Redhill. Our trainer was Stewart Cleverly, a very experienced and good communicator, the Course was both practical and part written. The class was an eclectic mix from all aspects of professional work experience. I have attended previous re-traing courses they are an essential life experience and St John Ambulance provide a great service in this field.
Thanks to the gentleman and his wife who helped me when I fell while celebrating my 60th birthday in rothesay, ended up with a broken shoulder but had it not been for your kindness could have been much worse. An absolute star 🌟 and credit to st John's 👏
I attended a 3 day first aid course ..I learnt alot from trainer who broke down the subjects into easy to learn modes..very useful course for a much need skill in every day life
I booked for the one-day first aid course with CPR at Bendigo that did not require any pre-learning. At the break the instructor said to me that I was not doing the compressions correctly in the CPR, and that I should go home and book another day. I was very disappointed as I could not afford another $220. This was very bad teaching.
Ross in Birkenhead delivered this excellent training course in a most engaging way. He was knowledgeable, confident and extremely competent as well as being friendly, funny, kind and patient. Tbh I really wasn’t looking forward to it and was expecting it to drag but, to the contrary, it was most interesting, informative, enjoyable and passed by very quickly. A brilliant course with a top class trainer!
Had a day course with Lawrence in Gosport, and to be honest, its the best one I've been on, made me so relaxed, where as normally i'm abit anxious, which in turns made it more enjoyable.
Well paced and informative course that really prioritised the important topics. Linda was gentle, engaging, positive and thorough. Was also very fortunate to be part of a group who were focussed but still made the day very enjoyable. Would recommend
I did the three day course through my job and was honestly dreading it being an overwhelming three days! However not only was it a great group of people but our trainer Colin P was brilliant! Engaging, SO knowledgeable and he made the sessions fun! It was a great way to learn, a fab mix of theory and practical so it didn't feel overwhelming! I've come away feeling confident and empowered, id happily recommend this course to anyone
Enrolled on course via work - had a brilliant trainer called Rob, very professional and time efficient! Covered so many different aspects and kept our interest going whole day. Would highly recommend using St John’s for first aid they are definitely the best.
My wife enrolled with the blended online course , it said to be an 8 hour course she had to answer 18 sets of questions and each set took 5 hrs before unfreezing , she couldn't make it to the live course cause she couldn't complete it they said two other people finished it so we're keeping your money , there was no one to talk to on the weekend they said she should have started earlier . These people will rip you off with a smile
The trainer at Wynnum Leagues club said to me ‘you did really badly’ which was obvious as I wasn’t breathing into the dummy’s mouth hard enough for CPR, however don’t say it just before an assessment, my mind was altered for the rest of the course, tell me at the end. I have had trainers with a bit of humour to make the course less stressful.
I suggest not booking your course with them. I accidentally booked the wrong course that cost me $180. They would not return my money, wanted to charge me a transfer fee to get into the proper class and they wanted to charge me another $100 for that class. I lost that $180 and refused to ever use SJA for any certifications again. Many others have had similar issues with them. There are lots of other places that do certs and they are not over priced, nor with they rob you. I'm a nurse and am required to have these certs so we can continue to provide care for the community. First aid and cpr training should be free. Considering what we do for for people on a daily basis, it's a shame to be treated that way
3 day first aid corse with Bob he was amazing fully full of good stories but also very good at teaching and coaching people through the first aid corse if given the opportunity in 3 years would 100% like Bob again amazing guy and trainer
First Aid at Work - Ealing My three-day first aid training at Ealing was a great experience, thanks to J. fantastic and engaging teaching style. I highly recommend both the course and the trainer. J's presentation was not only stylish and excellent but also informative and supportive. His expertise was evident in the way he shared his knowledge, instructing us and encouraging our active participation. This journey of learning essential skills has left me feeling confident in performing first aid at work.
Had a great experience at the Kingston venue whilst completing the three day first aid training. Rory was fantastic, he made the course very engaging and a pleasurable experience, highly recommend the course / trainer.
Completed my FAW course on 26/4 at the Warrington branch, it was presented in a balanced informative manner by the knowledgable Debbie Raynor who encouraged all participants to be engaged in the course Thanks Debs Carl D
Just completed a 2 day Mental Health First Aider course delivered by Rob Gue MBE. at my work place in Taunton. Highly recommended as Rob's style was very easy going, no question was left unanswered and I came away with a good level of confidence that I can now recognise the symptoms and signpost to the relevant help available. Loads of additional information was also made available to all of us on the course. Many thanks Rob. 👍

Done my first aid course with Darren vicars In great yarmouth not my first course I've done but far the best 3 days course and he made learning so must better and more understanding
