Sal Vela, We are sorry to hear your water-resistant canvas tarps did not work out for your application. These 21-oz treated canvas tarps are considered the solution for most heavy-duty applications. However, they are not tear-resistant, and tears are more likely to occur if force is unevenly distributed among the fabric. In most cases, we also recommend grommet reinforcements and/or the polyester-blend canvas tarps, which are less likely to tear under pressure. Thank you for sharing your experience. Regards, Customer Service Team
