Thank you for sharing this, and we're sorry the experience fell short of what you and your wife hoped for. We've since cancelled the enrolment at her request and provided a full refund, well within the cooling-off period, so the matter has been resolved directly. For anyone reading, we'd like to add a little context on two points. The first task, Module 0, is a required Entry Eligibility Assessment rather than a starting-point survey. As the Diploma is a nationally recognised AQF level 5 qualification, we're required to confirm that each applicant has a baseline grasp of core photographic principles (aperture, shutter speed and ISO) before commencing, and applicants are welcome to research these to complete it. The submission was reset so it could be resubmitted at any time. On the concern about paying twice: the Certificate is the recommended pathway for anyone who hasn't yet met the Diploma entry requirement, not a compulsory detour. Within the first month a student can transfer to the Certificate with the fee difference refunded, or take a full refund instead, and a 7-day cooling-off period with a full refund also applies. No one pays twice for the same content. Tutor messages appear on the student site as soon as they're posted, and our Student Support team is always glad to help if anything ever looks out of sync. We wish you both well, and we appreciate the feedback.
