Hi Lisa, Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that William provided such responsive and helpful support while planning your Iceland trip. Dear Alison, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the circumstances that prevented you from traveling and understand how disappointing that can be. To provide clarity, your reservation was part of a group booking managed by a designated lead passenger. As outlined at the time of booking and in the agreed terms and conditions, individual cancellations from a group booking are subject to specific policies. In your case, the reason for withdrawal did not fall under a covered or refundable circumstance, and only partial installment payments had been completed. The funds already paid were applied toward confirmed group arrangements and services for the remaining travelers. As such, issuing a refund after those allocations had been made was unfortunately not possible, as it would have directly affected the rest of the group. While we understand there was an expectation that only a deposit would be forfeited, the full cancellation policy was reviewed and explained at the time of your request. We’d also like to note that the remainder of the group proceeded with the trip as planned and shared very positive feedback following their vacation, reflecting the overall experience delivered. We truly regret that this situation did not work out as hoped and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the matter. Should you wish to discuss this further, our team remains available to assist directly. Kind regards, Team Travel Centre
