We're sorry to hear about the confusion and stress, Stacey, that's not what we want for anyone reaching out to us. To clarify, 97tax is an independent, IRS e-file approved service, not the IRS itself, and we're upfront about that on our site and in our emails. We understand it's frustrating to feel you signed up unnecessarily. Please email [email protected] and let us know your order details, we're happy to look into this with you.

Hi Alvin, thanks for the feedback. The application uses the estimated amount entered when you apply, and your packet was likely mailed with your original estimate before your correction reached us. Easy fix: email [email protected] with the correct amount and we'll email you an updated copy of your application right away. And good to know: the IRS reconciles your application against their own records, so an estimate being off doesn't derail your plan.

Hi, we're sorry for the trouble. Our website is online and fully operational, so if you ran into an error, it may have been a temporary issue or a connection problem on the page. Either way, we'd like to get whatever you need resolved right away, including anything related to your mailing information. Please email [email protected] with your order details and we'll take care of it directly. We're here to help.

Hi Tracey, thanks for the feedback. Good news worth sharing: your plan is set at $25 per month, which is the minimum monthly payment the IRS allows on a payment plan. That means your application secured the lowest payment possible. 97tax prepares your application based on the amount that works for you, and in your case, it's already at the floor the IRS permits. If you have any questions about your plan or anything else, we're happy to help at [email protected].
