Spirit Airlines fares are so low and have a lot of restrictions that you either "use it or lose it." It does look like the American Airlines ticket was refunded. CheapAir does not create these rules. We must abide by the airline's policy and in your reservation it appears one airline allowed you to get your money back and the other did not. Thank you for using CheapAir.com.
