I like the tool. But, there is a chat support agent ("David") who is incredibly disrespectful and rude.

5/10 Not bad, can be fun for a few minutes, but a freemium and not cheap at all.
I tried this out to see if it would actually make a logo, but the quality was horrible. how can anyone even use this?

I Like the fact that you offer the service for free at least it helps some of us starting out, with online business that has little to no capital, much appreciated.
beautiful design ideas
Here is a very friendly and helpful for free Logo design.
They say it's free to make a logo but when you go and download it it gives you a low resolution logo. That's a scam and not nice. It should be clear from the beginning that you have to pay for a high resolution logo and it's free for low resolution logo.

Free Logo maker is a use full guide to make your own logo
Design Evo has good options and it lets you download the low resolution file - which is good enough for a startup with limited finances. It would have been good if it provided me a brand kit with lesser charges, but, whatever it be, it is much better than other "FREE" logo makers for which you have to pay or download a watermarked version.
Sorry for any inconvenience we caused you. Free logos offer you a low resolution of 300x300px only. The basic and packages offer you a high resolution of 5000x5000px, and the plus package also offers you vector files of PDF & SVG format, which have no quality loss. If you still have any questions about the logo design, please contact our support team at https://www.designevo.com/contact.html. We are ready to help you!
First you provided everything for free and when downloading you are asking money😠. I didn't like this behavior. You are asking for 25 dollar that is too much for me. You can can run ads in side, I have no problem with that. But you are asking for actual money that is not reasonable for student like me. I was very happy in beginning that too much feature I am getting as compared to Canva.
Sorry for not providing you with a good experience. You can use all of the resources for free and download logos for free with a low resolution. If you need more features or higher resolution, you can purchase the basic or plus package. You can click the "Download" button and choose to download it for free or purchase the basic/plus package and download the logo to your computer.
